2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R
Advantages: Performance, big bike looks, handling.
Disadvantages: No centre stand, narrow mirrors.
...I own a 2008 Ninja 250R. I've owned the bike for 10 months now and this is my experience so far.
When it comes to looks this bike excells. In the showroom I could hardly tell the difference between the big bikes and this one. It just looks great and really sporty.
I've taken the bike on quite a long ride and I'm 5 10'. By the end my legs were a bit stiff and aching but not really bad. The seating position overall is comfortable.
On the negative side, the bike has no centre stand. The mirrors are narrow and took me a while to get used to them. I'm now used to moving my elbow in before glancing in the mirror. Also, I've read in some reviews that the bike has a fuel gauge but it doesn't. All it has is a fuel reserve light to tell you when you are getting low. Don't get me wrong these are all very minor things...

1994 Ninja EX250R/FUN!!!
Advantages: Light, fun, and nimble
Disadvantages: Skinny tires
...I bought the bike brand new in 1994, US (California) specifications. I used to own an Honda Interceptor 750 but too heavy for me. I wanted a light sports bike and really, I only had two choices in 250 class in US, Honda or Kawasaki.
The day that I saw the bike, I loved the way she looks. Sexy, light and quick for it's size. I am pretty light so she's got enough power for me, I love the rev happy engine with 14,000 rpm redline! I took her home a week later. I own a black one and customized it with purple spider webs all over.
The six speed transmission is accurately spaced with the engine rpm range. Excellent brakes! The disc brakes both in front and back provides outstanding stopping power! I like having both center and side stand, makes it easier to oil the chain, I perform all of the maintenance...

#250? - Overrated!
Advantages: Acknowledge I've overrated, at ease, I use a strong range of scores
Disadvantages: GameFAQS top ten list quality filler - I'm only really doing this for 30CP
...I'm not a fan of top whatever lists, and I loathe the term "overrated" as I find it to be overused (although it springs to mind when I am on sites like this). For my 250th review (or not-really-a-review) however, I decided to compile a top ten list of products that I've reviewed which I felt I have overrated, and contemplated taking a star off the rating. There have been reviews that I've gone back to and changed the rating - these would be next in line, though my laziness means I might never get round to these.
10. Metallica - Ride The Lightning.
Production values aside, the second half of this album is average compared to the first - I wouldn't classify Ride The Lightning as a consistent, and thus not a classic, album.
****
9. Valkyrie Profile for PlayStation.
More from the dungeons and towns (and maybe even the endings) would not...

My Mean Green Kawasaki
Advantages: Powerful, fast, good looks
Disadvantages: heavy, long reach and long legs required
...I purchased my 1993 ZX-7R from Lings in Harleston for £2,000 about 4 years ago.
After cutting my teeth on a VFR400R (an absolutely gorgeous bike) I thought it was time to move up to something a bit more powerful. At the time I weighed 13.5 stone, despite me being short at 5'7".
Due to my weight I thought I needed something that was at least 600cc (the 400 started to struggle pulling me!). I had always liked the Kawasaki ZX's. The 600s were a bit out of my price range but I found this American imported ZX-7 on the Lings website.
I called and booked a test ride for the following Saturday.
When I arrived at the shop the ZX was already parked out the front with a full tank waiting.
The first thing I noticed was the dimensions of the bike - it was huge. Kawasakis (especially the older ones) always seem to be big bikes. When...

Kawasaki GPZ 500 Honest review!
Advantages: Reliability, cost, engine.
Disadvantages: Brakes,front end handling.
...the oil is changed regularly (every 5k miles) as if not the cams can go wrong after as little 20k miles. It pulls very well about 3k and has a deffinate surge at 6k and can propell you along to about 120mph.
Everything is easy to access and changing oil/filter/plugs can take as little as 30 minutes!
Economy is great, and if you take it really easy, changing gear at about 5k you can get 55-60mpg.
The exhaust is shocking, the rear silencers are fine, but kawasaki (in their wisdom) decided to make the downpipes out of mild steel, (on a comuter! GRRR) which rust massively, i have had my exhaust off twice so far and rubbed it down, then treated it with rust-off then sprayed it with high temp paint.
If you decide to get one, invest in some stainless downpipes, there about 70-80 quid and well worth it!
So there you have it, i think this...

Samsung E250
Advantages: Planner
Disadvantages: Memory card needed
...The Samsung E250 is a bit of a let down to my other phone which broke and I have had a lot of phones but the reasons why it is a good phone are shown below along with a few bad points but every phone has bad points this one has an advantage to other phones.
The fact that it is a slide phone mean that it is helpful for calls all you have to do is just have slide it up and the call is answered. The phone has good reception, which is good because the majority of phones have poor reception. If you want a phone the better the reception the better the phone actually is.
The phones colour is great and has some depth to it. I have owned many phones and this one is the best by far for colour. The phone has a VGA camera which is ok for videos and pictures the effects that the edit section has are brilliant it allows you to add clipart, frames...

Garmin Nuvi 250 Satnav (/GPS)
Advantages: Touch-screen, USB, Card-slot, Mapsource compatability
Disadvantages: Bad maps, immediate next turn direction, no variable POI proximity,
...Edit: My review here is based on the Nuvi-250 (non-widescreen version).
I bought one of these recently as my old ipaq-based TomTom is getting more outdated each day and there doesn't seem to be a reasonably-priced way to update it. I have to say I was expecting better.
The manual is small because there aren't as many features as you get with TomTom. For example TomTom allows you to set the distance between your POI and it's alert sounding. This Garmin seems to sound the alert at it's own preset distance warning which you can't change from the menu system.
It also seems to take a while to find the satellites. We went to our local park on saturday which is about a mile from home and we were practically on the car-park before it locked on. The worst part though was how innacurate the maps seem to be. On one trip, It didn't have...

SAMSUNG E250
Advantages: good quality ringtones, good quality camera, easy to use and looks good
Disadvantages: poor battery life
...Having decided to change from a flip phone to a slide phone i finally settled on the samsung e250 on O2.
It has the following features:
Intergrated VGA camera - really good quality compared with my last phone (Siemens cl75)
Record and playback video clips - again good quality
Bluetooth
Mp3 playback - Can download songs and store in a music file and listen to or set as a ringtone
Polyphonic and MP3 ringtones - I have set a mp3 tume downloaded from samsung website and again fantastic quality no crackling and not tinny
built in FM radio - just plug in supplied earphones and off you go!
stunning 64k colour screen - fantastic!
External memory card slot - you can purchase a memory card if you feel that you need extra storage for your files etc
Tri-band. works in the Usa and Canada - have to get my husband to take me there to check...

Great for vertically challenged!
Advantages: Fast for a 250, good for shorter people and light.
Disadvantages: Not so good when turning and balance issues when going straight.
...The Kawasaki 250R is an excellent little bike, but don't let that fool you! It's fast, and for a light rider, you can get around 115-120 MPH!!
The biggest interest in the 250 Ninja for a lot of people is that it's one of the lowest seat heights for a sports (road) bike you can get. At just a little over 29 inches, it's perfect for shorter riders. I am a guy, 5ft 2in and have an inseam of 30 inches. While I can never get on a bigger bike, such as trials or a KTM, I can sit on the 250 Ninja and with my weight 116lbs, the seat drops to about 28 inches almost. A short lady, for example, at 5 feet will have an inseam of 27 to 28, and she can flat foot. I sure can, and I have always had trouble with finding a bike to suit my size.
The 250 Ninja has a pretty fast acceleration, and because it's light, it can accelerate faster than some...

RS250 - Best Avoided
Advantages: Good looks, 2 stroke smells
Disadvantages: unreliable, expensive parts - Italian
...I thought I had better share my brief affair of 6 months with a 1995 Aprilia RS250.
I am not going to bother going through the specs - you can get that info from numerous websites. When reading reviews it is important to understand what the product is like to live with on a dialy basis and find out what it does well and what it doesn't do so well. so.......................
I bought one just for a bit of fun over the summer months - and what a big mistake it was.
Riding the RS gives you horns, the handling is phenomenol. It is just so light and flickable that twisty roads are a pleasure. The tyre stick like the provrbial to the shovel and the engine just wants to be revved. The harder you thrash it the more it likes it. It just screams and screams, and....screams.
The RS is hard work to ride and requires thrashing. It's lack...
