...Stephen Lynch is an American stand-up comedian and musician from Pennsylvania and he specialises is jokey songs mocking everyday life and plying on social stereotypes and clichés. He has four albums out, two studio relases and the other two are live performances. He also has his own Comedy Central specials and starred as the lead character in the Broadway adaptation of 'The Wedding Singer,' a performance which he recieved an award nomination for. Stephen moved to New York to pursue his career and from starting in comedy clubs, he is now well known in the US, a regular on TV and radio and is expanding his global fanbase rapidly. ...Of course, most people know the story of Edward Kelly, or more famously, Ned Kelly, the great Australian 'Outlaw'. But why was he given this name. This story tries to paint the picture that writer Robert Drewe portrays in his book, one of the many therorys about the infamous Irish/Australian. And so to the film. It starts out 3 years before the major part of the movie, when Ned, played by Heath Ledger, is wrongly imprisoned for stealing a horse. It then goes to him being released, and met by his friends for a homecoming. ...This is by far my favourite Kelly Clarkson album. I have every every album by her so far. Her first album, just after winning American Idol back in 2002 didnt really do a lot for me, a bit too cheesy and 'pop' for my liking. I guess she didnt really have a big say in what she recorded back then. Good news is, her style seems to have changed. Now more toward a pop/rock kinda sound i find im really liking her again. Choice of genre was a little bit of a shock to some listeners, thinking she'd stick to the safe ballad route but good on her for going for something different. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. Kane and Lynch: Dead men.

Advantages: Gritty, starts off promising, good set pieces.
Disadvantages: bad controls, get repetative, story is to hectic.

...Kane & Lynch, what can i say about this title? well, you either love it or you hate it. It's that simple. You play the part of Kane a man standing of the destruction of his own life trying as hard as he might to salvage what he can. By his side, or on his case rather is Lynch, a psychotic madman who is a much of a hinder as he is a help. He's there to keep check on Kane as he fulfills one last mission in the vein attempt his previous boss's don't tear him or his family apart. Game play wise, it's fairly basic stuff in that you run, shoot, collect ammo and repeat. It has some lovely set pieces that see you attempting bank jobs and prison breaks and this is the part of the game thats full of the "did you see that!?!" factor but then it strays away from this and you end up taking you characters hundreds of miles across seas and into war...

Advantages: A unique voice and style with more image than UK pop idol winners
Disadvantages: somewhat blander than her debut

...Kelly was the first US pop idol winner who came second to Kurt Nilson during world idol. Her debut album featured collaberations with the likes of christina aguilara and other top US song writers. The beginging of this album features her singing breakaway co penned by the canadian rock queen (no not Celine Dion) Avril Lavigne and the album certainly has a lot of influence from this styling of music. However having seen her on pop idol america and listening to her first album this down plays her very powerful voice. ...This girl is amazing, her album breakaway is stunning! She has a great voice and bags of talent.Winner of american pop idol, this is kellys second album and is so much better than her first. It has all her singles like,"since you've been gone", "behind these hazel eyes"(my personal fav) also "because of you" and her most recent singles "walkaway" and "breakaway" she has turned from pop princess to rock chick. If you like pop songs with a rock edge to them then this is the cd for you. Out of all 14 songs i can honestly say there is no song on here that i did'nt like.She is so original, and has her own unique style. There is a good mix of upbeat rock songs and a few rock ballards.
