It begins with the death of the main character in the book, a guy by the name of Jeff Winston, a 42-year-old newsreader for a local radio station. On the 18th October 1988 at 1.06pm Jeff suffers a heart attack whilst sitting at his desk on the phone to his wife. This rather odd start to this novel takes a dramatic turn when Jeff wakes up again in bed. Realising that he hasn't died after all he looks around at his surroundings, which look oddly familiar. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

...My six month old golden labrador, who is my pride and joy, has experienced sickness and an upset stomach on and off for months. I have tried him on numerous brands and he has been back and forth the vets and on medication. Recently he was diagnosed with a stomach bug which he now needs to continue taking medication for the next couple of weeks. The vet advised I change his food to a kibble and after reading various reviews on the internet I opted for Burns Mini Bites. As it was another change to his diet I just purchased the small 2kg bag. Lou has been on Mini Bites now for just over one week and, although it is only early days, I have found that his waste has improved greatly and is more solid, his coat has gone from coarse to soft and shiny and he has greatly improved. Effective Treatment For Minor Burns

...I suffer from many allergies and have to be really careful about the topical treatments that I use to treat scratches, minor burns etc. otherwise I end up in a worst condition than I was in the first place with a minor ailment. Traditional treatments like TCP and Savlon unfortunately react with this sensitivity and I end up with lumps and bumps or the area becomes red and inflamed. As a result I am always on the lookout for new treatments that I can try out to combat this problem. I recently burned myself very slightly when I was hurriedly ironing some clothes. Cost a fortune in vets bills and he had to stay on a special vet diet until I tried the Burns Mini Bites for puppies. I introduced the food gradually over a period of ten days and the results were astounding. Now he is on it full time and thriving. This is definitely one of the best foods on the market . The hyperallergenic qualities make it a must for anyone who has a dog with s sensitive stomach. I have seen reviews that say this food is expensive - compared to Iams and Eukanuba it is very cheap and much better quality in my opinion. Burns mini bites - cured persistent upset tum

Advantages: Good quality kibble, firm stools, low residue
Disadvantages: 7.5kg bags useful size, but more costly than buying 15kg - pity

...My 12 week old labradoodle proved difficult to feed. He came on Oscars kibble from the breeder, but his appetite was poor - though he had bags of energy and clearly was not ill. The vet inevitably recommended Hills Science diet (large puppy variety). This went down very well, but pup developed persistent runs. We tried lots of rice and some boiled chicken, no improvement. We tried Harrington's kibble from Tesco, hypoallegenic and all that, but no improvement. Food just going straight through. After reading Internet reviews we tried Burns mini bites. Bingo, firm stools within 10 hours! Two weeks later, pup is loving the food and his output is firm and low volume. Burns is delivered to the door free of charge. I cannot recommend it highly enough and look forward to trying the other flavours as he grows....

Advantages: quite well acted
Disadvantages: slow, rip off of usual suspects

...smell, particularly food smells, with the interrogation room smelling like burnt pot roast and Timmer smelling like everything from grapefruit to mashed potato. Apart from the crazy lines he doesn't really have much to do except sit there feeding Ford various bits of information which push the story in small increments. Mekhi Phifer is either the dead guy, rapist or victim depending on whose flashback or point of view we are looking at, he is solid in his role and I must admit I like the actor after seeing him in 8 mile. Other supporting actors are Taye Diggs as Jeffrey Sykes and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Ty Trippin both of whom also seem to be more than they appear to be. Slow Burn is Wayne Beach's directorial debut, he also wrote the story and Screenplay, and I cannot help thinking that he bit off a little more than he can chew. His other two...
