cool retro mouse
Advantages: good range
Disadvantages: a little big for a laptop
...Kensington Ci70LE Wireless Mouse
In terms of design the mouse and its colours and pattern feature on top of it make it look very cool, however it appears to be an odd shape and a little bit big. Perhaps if you have huge hands then this might just be the perfect mouse for you but I myself prefer smaller more compact mouse's as opposed to big clumsy ones.
It is however quite a nice red colour which is a colour you don't really see much in mouse's so if you have a laptop that is partially this colour or a pc that's this colour then perhaps this would suit it. The receiver is also in this red colour too which is nice to see as it matches quite well. I'm not sure it's a colour I like that much however it does make a change to the boring silver or black mouse and it does funk up your desktop a little.
The wireless signal can reach...

Logitech wireless Mouse M305 - a great replacement for a dud
Advantages: wireless with more freedom, responsive, comfortable.
Disadvantages: more expensive than a wired mouse.
...In November 2009 I bought a Logitech M305 wireless mouse, which cost £19.99 at Currys.
General information
Logitech was founded in 1981 in Switzerland and is a world leader in mice. The M305 wireless mouse is designed for use with laptops and is very comfortable in the hand.
It looks the same as the picture you can see on ciao website i.e. grey colour with black feature. However if you visit Logitech?s website you can see it?s available in 7 colours. I would describe the size as standard for a laptop mouse. It has a two-button design with a single scroll wheel in-between. However the palm rest is a little taller and more arched than most mice on the market.
The package is the size of a small book and easy to open. It contains a wireless mouse, a nano-receiver, an AA battery and a quick start guide.
How to start using it...

funky retro mouse
Advantages: looks cool
Disadvantages: could have better range
....
In terms of design the mouse and its colours and pattern feature on top of it make it look very cool, however it appears to be an odd shape a look quite long. It is however quite an improvement in there older bigger model and this one is designed specifically for notebooks and for portability, it is still a weird shape however its now a lot smaller, a lot lighter and just a lot nicer to use from my point of view.
It is quite a funky colour too, its lime green and white colour scheme stand out making the mouse look retro but also really modern at the same time.
If you have a green dell then this is pretty much the exact same colour as that and it would really go with the laptop, in fact I think If I had a dell I would definitely get one of these.
The wireless signal can reach a quite normal 1.5 meters which is more...

Great mouse but over sensitive
Advantages: Great design & scroll wheel
Disadvantages: Way over sensitive
...This mouse is wireless but can be connected via wires if, for example, your batteries have died - the top and bottom casing of the mouse are magnetically stuck together so its easy to take the top part of (a simple pull is all needed) and slot back in. It's difficult to explain but inside the mouse where you can take the top cover of is where the batteries lie, as well as the wire that you can connect to the wireless dongle if you want to go wired.
For me the mouse is way too over sensitive - I had to adjust my mouse speed right to the left in order to make it even usable - and its because tracking precision is enabled in mouse preferences. My previous optical mouse had its mouse speed settings in the middle, I plugged in the USB dongle (its Plug and Play) for the Kensginton mouse and just a small movement would make it skip to half...

Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse
Advantages: Almost brilliant design, looks great.
Disadvantages: Expensive, limited programming for buttons.
...(This review is written having tested the hardware on Mac OS X Leopard and Windows Vista)
This year, I purchased my first Apple computer. Deciding to go for the iMac, an all-in-one desktop computer.
From their website, Apple include either the wired or wireless Mighty Mouse with the purchase, the Wireless option being a £13.99 upgrade option, but no option to get the computer without the mouse.
Because I have so many computer mice lying around, I was torn between selling the default (wired) Mighty Mouse when the computer arrived, or upgrading to the Wireless option and keeping it, I have far too many cables for electronics to want to add more wires, so I decided I would purchase all of the wireless options with the iMac, but paying extra money for something I didn't particularly need was a nuisance.
In the end, I decided that...

Microsoft wireless mouse & keyboard
Advantages: looks smart, easy to install & use, responsive
Disadvantages: batteries wear out quickly
...I purchased this wireless mouse and keyboard set when I got a new computer as I thought it would look smarter and more modern than the wire mouse and keyboard that came with it. I chose this set as I felt that Microsoft had a good reputation and, at £30, this represented good value for money.
This was easy to connect up with the computer, just a simple plug in to the front of the box. That was all that was required to install. The mouse and keyboard each take two batteries. I find that the batteries wear down really quickly. This is frustrating, especially when typing where letters can be missed out in your work, or quite often, the space bar won't function. The batteries in the mouse wear out especially quickly.
Having said that, this is the only flaw I can find with the product. The keyboard is comfortable to type...

A great wireless mouse
Advantages: Scrolls up down left and right, side buttons
Disadvantages: You can accidentally press the side buttons
...I really like this mouse, although it feels quite large if your going from a laptop mouse to this.
I love the side buttons, they are great for going back a page on the internet and its something I have found very helpful even though it can be pressed accidentally. The right hand side button magnifys the pages in a some square I fins this useful when I'm lying ing bed watching a DVD as it means I can skip forward a chapter much easier as I can see clearer, although again it can be pressed accidentally.
The scroll wheel is good, although sometimes it does scoll to far (but that may be my settings, I don't know). Also with this scroll wheel the user is able to scroll from left to right, this is useful if the user is using Exel or a spreadsheet program to move from left to right, other than that I rarely use it unless a website has...

Wireless mice just got a whole lot better
Advantages: Sleek design, long bttery life, excellent tracking, low cost
Disadvantages: Not particulary suitable for dedicated gaming
...Optical and wired mice are thing of the past now. Enter the wireless mice with Microsoft leading the display. The Microsoft Laser Wireless mouse 5000 0004Model is a perfect blend of style, comfort and quality tracking.
Well placed rubber grips and symmetrical design enables it to be used by either hand. Easy to set up and use and a light blue light when active gives an ambient look. It has an impressive range and can easily follow orders up to 25 feet away. The wheel is smooth and it has an auatomatic power save mode where it turns off after being inactive.
The mouse itself works on a newer blue track beam which offers fine and smooth control which surpasses most mice. Add a 3 year hardware warrenty as well as an estimated 8 months battery life and you got yourself a bargain of a product.
At 20 pound this is a deal you just cannot let...

The second Kensington mouse
Advantages: Cool name (Mouse in a box \m/)
Disadvantages: Not as good as the ValuMouse, no scroll wheel
...So I sit at like the fourth PC I've been on over the past few days in my uni library, and come across yet a different mouse, this one again by Kensington. The same Kensington that have arguable made the greatest budget mouse of all time in the ValuMouse, but does "The mouse in the box" rival it's brother in arms.
The look similar, both white, mouse shaped, 2 buttons, kensington written across above the buttons, but thats where the looks end.
Well the first difference between the two it that this mouse is longer by about an inch and it's less "fat", so I'm guessing it was a basketball playing mouse before it retired to the desk job it now serves. This may seem trivial but it really doesn't fit the hand anywhere near as well as the Valumouse. The second difference design wise is both buttons have grooves on them but they don't feel...

Labtec Wireless Optical Mouse.
Advantages: No more wires.
Disadvantages: Eats the batteries.
...I got my wireless mouse last year as a christmas gift,
It came complete with mouse, receiver, batteries and C.D. software.
Installing the software is simple and takes just a matter of minutes, the C.D. guides you step by step and is so easy you cant go wrong.
Set up was very easy....the reciever has a 1 metre cable which plugs into the USB port,
the reciever itself is slightly smaller than the mouse and is placed on your desktop.
The mouse takes 2 AA batteries and fits nicely into the palm of your hand and has 3 button control........left click ,right click and middle click for manual or automatic scrolling.
Being wireless this free's your desktop from the clutter of cords, enabling you to move the mouse more freely without being restricted.
The mouse works accurately and reliably 1 metre away from the receiver...
