kenwood FP580 - Compact
Advantages: standard size but takes up little space
Disadvantages: not all accessories available to UK
...I have had my kenwood FP580 for a couple of months now and I love it. I only have a small kitchen and it sits in a very small corner - which means it is accessible at all times.
It comes with many accessories including a dough tool, 3 cutting discs, whisk and blender. The 3 cutting discs store away safely in a disc holder.
The main base has inerchangeable bowls and the blender. These are very easy to swap, although initially are quite stiff to remove but this soon loosens up.
The 2 sizes of 'feeding' tubes in the lid of the main bowl, enables you to feed individual or handfuls of fruit/veg into the the processor to be ccot by one of the chosen blades. This is very safe, quick anf efficient.
The instruction manual is just an A4 paper sheet but does list all the contents. The only downside I felt was that it lists all available discs...

Kenwood FP250
Advantages: Cheap and good for carrots etc
Disadvantages: not fit for mixing dough
...Loved the price of this processor.
Had it 2 weeks burnt motor out doing nothing too heavy on it
4 batches of soup and three bread mixes :(
First day i used it i thought the burning smell was just it bedding in.
Second time it was ok with just some onions, carrots, potatoes & roasted vegetables
Last time i used it black smoke belched out the bottom of it, never a good sign in my opinion.
Took it back to Tesco and got a refund.
Last time i buy a Kenwood unless i can be talked back from this one.
This was not a good buy even though price indicated it was going to be
On up side it is great for chopping onions and carrots just pants at the more difficult stuff!!!...

For this Chef, its a Kenwood
Advantages: loads of attachments, large bowls, planetary mixing leaves items thoroughly mixed
Disadvantages: have to make counterspace but well worth it
...warranties on the workings of old machines, as they are such high quality! There are even Chefs from 1950's era still in use and they work like new! If you are looking to buy a food processor/liquidiser, etc. when setting up a kitchen, I recommend one of these without reservation. It does it all, and will keep on going and going and going without needing replacement. A good tip is to scout out on Ebay for one, and to keep an eye out on Ebay for the various attachments (including manuals!) and so save yourself some money while getting a truly excellent product. Handy tip is to enter the words "kenwood chef" into the Ebay search box as that is how these usually are listed, the Ebay link above will usually draw a blank!...

Process up your bits with a Kenwood
Advantages: Small, easy to store and good for those small jobs in the kitchen
Disadvantages: Will struggle with larger items
...I tend to spend quite some time in the kitchen these days but I don?t really mind as I do like cooking, I suppose that stems back to when I was ?cheffing? for a living.
Anyway, back when I was ?cheffing? you had to do most things by hand, cooking wise that is, so it was a little more work back then. These days life in the kitchen is so much easier, what with all the mod-cons that are on the market to give chefs a little helping hand.
One of them items, which I am the owner of and have been for some time, is the kenwood Multi Pro food processor/liquidiser.
** Brief specs?
* White food processor.
* Separate liquidizer.
* 1.2 litre mixer capacity
* 2.1 litre bowl capacity
* 750 watt power
* 2 speed and ?pulse? button
* Safety interlock to prevent accidental start without lid.
* Detachable blades for easy cleaning...

Brilliantly reliable food processor
Advantages: Lots of accessories, reliable , long lasting
Disadvantages: Cant take a whole christmas cake
...I used to make my own bread and pasta by hand it was satisfying but hard work . When I got a part time job , I found I just didn't have time to bake anymore. I'd seen a few processors in the Argos catalogue and drooled over them. Then one day I bit the bullet and bought one. It was a revelation , I could whizz up biscuit dough in five minutes , my bread was kneaded in seconds and pasta became a doddle. Best of all was the marmalade , now instead of sticky orange juice everywhere I could peel my oranges by hand , grate the peel with the grater disc and juice the orange flesh with the citrus juicer which caught all those wretched little pips. Bliss.
That first processor lasted 10 years. As soon as it died ,I bought another the FP470.
This newer model had extras... A liquidiser and A whisk
It also had all the attatchments...

My Kenwood, My Friend
Advantages: Inexpensive and practical
Disadvantages: Rather noisy
... KENWOOD WHITE COMPACT FOOD PROCESSOR
INTRODUCTION
The food processor is probably my most used kitchen appliance (next to my trusty Senseo coffee machine!!)
This review is about my current food processor, which is the Kenwood White Compact Food Processor that I bought from Argos about six years ago. I paid around £25 for the machine but on checking today I see that it is on sale in Argos (code number 420/0442) for £27.99, I have also seen them on Amazon for less than £20.
I have, in the past, owned far more expensive and intricate food processors. But this machine is perfectly adequate for me, and I do a lot of cooking. Six years on it is still working well, making my pastry, whisking my eggs shredding my vegetables etc.
I have been a Kenwood customer for forty years since my mum bought me my first Kenwood...

Kenwood FP698 in Satin
Advantages: Compact, attractive, lots of attachments, storage,
Disadvantages: bowl and lid look flimsy, need lots of storage room for accessories
...This food processor was a replacement for my last Kenwood that expired after over 25 years of use.
The motor is housed beneath the bowl and this makes it very compact, and I am keeping it out on the worktop, the previous model was a big cream ugly thing with a bowl on the side of the motor unit and a removable plate to place the liquidizer and mill on.
This model takes all attachments on the base.
I wanted a model that had the spice mill, as the previous model had one, and this was the only one I could find with the same attachment. The FP698 despite it's smaller size came with even more attachments than before so I still need the same storage for them if not more than before. It comes with a stylish caddy for the slicing and grating disks that looks good next to it, could do with storage for the other things!
The disks are...

Nothing to beat the Kenwood Chef
Advantages: The original do-everything machine
Disadvantages: This machine is not cheap brand new
...Shaun, my hubby and I were so impressed when we recently bought a brand new KM300 (from Comet) that we have recently bought a second used one on E-Bay (which is just as good and a quarter of the price).
We run our own Pizza Restaurant. We started off making the dough by hand, but quickly progressed to using a 'Chefette' type machine with dough hooks, but the little machine just could not cope with the large capacity we needed. Our existing food processor, a lovely little Moulinex wasn't up to the job either, and at about £800 second-hand, we weren't in a position to look at the Hobart professional mixer range, neither did we have the massive floor space required for such a thing.
We were on the look out for a larger machine that would cope with our specific requirements, and noted that not only was the Chef more geared up to our...

Value for money food processing
Advantages: Excellent value for money
Disadvantages: Size of print on instruction sheet
...KENWOOD FP110 FOOD PROCESSOR
--------------------------------------------------------
This is the first Food Processor that I've owned or used and my experiences so far beg the question - 'why did I leave it so long to get one ?'
I would recommend this appliance to anyone who is looking for value for money. More expensive devices may have more capacity and more features, but for basic food processing the FP110 is more than adequate.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why did I choose this Manufacturer and Model ?
Well, Kenwood has a good name for kitchen appliances and in my home we have owned a number of their named appliances in the past - always with satisfactory performance and longevity.
The particular model appealed to me for two prime reasons:
1. It came with quite a few attachments, many of which looked...
