KENWOOD KDC-W4034: my product experience
Review of Kenwood KDC-W 4034 G by
nimrod_king
Advantages: Looks great, great controls, good backlight, plays MP3'S/WMA'S
Disadvantages: Display screen: limated to characters on display
...to only a set amount of digits/characters, so the song being played will not be fully displayed on the screen if it’s over a certain length. "Let me love you" would be” let me lo" for example. There could be a setting to have it scroll, but I have not found it as yet. The CD player has settings for your bass level, your treble, the fade and balance, it does not have a sub woofer control, however I have mine linked up to a sub woofer and speakers and I find I can set a nice sound with the controls on the subs amplifiers and the bass/treble settings.
People had advise me to stick with brands like Alpine and JBL but I could not be happier with my Kenwood Head unit, at the time I had spent around £70’s for it, but it was worth it.
My key features of the head unit
WMA/MP3 PLAY BACK
• Quick track change
• Great back light
• Good controls for bass...

Decent Car Radio
Review of Kenwood KDC-W 3037 by
orrin31
Advantages: Easy to use, good features, cheap
Disadvantages: Manual could be better written
...first).
Although there wasn’t a vast number to choose from, there were lots of types of car radio’s to look at, including some awesome DVD players (add to my to-buy list), but for the moment, all I wanted was a radio for the car.
With my lists in my head, I now start my search and I find two or three that I can tick off the list. The ones I’ve selected seemed nice, but I forgot that the new car radio will need to be installed and the old one taken out. I’m sure it’s simple to do, but there’s always something that goes wrong when I try to do these things. With the cost of having this done taken into account the list of selected car radios dwindles to one. Purchase selected: The Kenwood KDC-W 3037 A (installation was free).
* Installation *
I’m guessing the reason the installation was free was the model was being phased out and they wanted...

Great value For Money Headunit!
Review of Kenwood KDC-W 6031 by
rjbriggsy
Advantages: Attractive looking, plenty of configuration options, can connect ipod with optional extra
Disadvantages: Sometimes too many menus just to change simple options
...Up untill it broke i had managed to live with a cheap daewoo headunit for my car. It was ok i thought, i connect a sub and amp to it and yea it sounded good. However as soon as i installed this kenwood headunit i could hear the differance!! The sound quality was amazing, produced better results through all my speaker ranges and had both well defined bass lines and good vocals even with the exact same speakers as i had previously used.
The first thing that took my eye was the rubber edges to the controls, these feel really nce and increase the attractivness of the player. I also like the joypad like control on the right of the player which controls the cd track skip and play/pause functions. It is quite easy to kncok this to accidentaly change tracks though.
One thing that annoyed me was that its advertised as ipod compatible which...

Kenwood should know better!
Review of Kenwood KDC-W 7031 by
BloodySpike
Advantages: Good Sound and a Motorised Panel
Disadvantages: Limited Features
...What a disappointment! I paid good money for this when it came out! about £250. You would think that you would be getting alot for your money! But you would be wrong. There are limited features on it! I think thats why they have dropped the price now! I think you can pick these up for about £150 now Brand new.
So lets start with the Look! Well it looks OK not amazing! nothing stands out. I purchased this because it was Kenwood! I thought all Kenwoods where suppose to be amazing and i was wrong! I never read any reviews! So hopefully you are reading this now and are going to shy away in buying one! That would be a wide choice.
Dont get me wrong the Sound is fine! Which fare enough it is for playing sound but you can get cheaper ones for that! It has a full colour display which is not great by all means! It does play Mp3 Cds and WMA...

Good make - highly reccomended
Review of Kenwood SE-A500 by
paul170184
Advantages: Reliable, high quality
Disadvantages: Can be pricey
...I bought a Kenwood Hi Fi System 2 years ago, and it is still in just as good condition as it was then. It has been moved about alot but still it is in perfect working order. I think that Kenwood are a very reliable make when it comes to music systems, many of my friends buy Kenwood products and they too have had no problems whatsoever. So if you are looking to buy a Hi Fi system choose KEnwood for reliability. I must also mention that they are of a very high quality too....

Kenwood come clean
Review of Kenwood DF650 Total Clean Coolwall by
sadcrab
Advantages: Easy to clean
Disadvantages: None
...This is my third deep fat fryer the first being a Tefal that lasted 11 years, the second a Kenwood DF650 which lasted 14 months and finally another Kenwood DF 650 which arrived today with the compliments of Kenwood!
The first kenwood was a vast improvement on the Tefal in the fact that the whole thing could be cleaned in the dishwasher (all except the control unit that is removed to dismantle the fryer).
Last week the fryer stopped working so a little annoyed to start with I rang Kenwood to see if it could be repaired, no problem send it back to us they said and we will repair it, how much I asked, oh that will be free if it's a manuafacuring fault if it isn't we'll ring and let you know how much the repair will be and by the way we will arrange for it to be picked up by courier free of charge. On Saturday I got a letter from Kenwood...

Kenwood Hi-fi
Review of Kenwood SE-A900 by
liveland
Advantages: Reliable and excellent quality.
Disadvantages: None
...I have owned my Kenwood Hi-fi for over 10 years now, I paid £999.00 which was is a lot of money for a hi-fi, but it has definately been worth every penny. The sound quality today is just as good as it was 10 years ago, it has never had any faults. The range of features is excellent, I particularly like the CD to tape editing function which intelligently puts the cd's tracks onto tape so that no songs get chopped off when the tape reaches the end. The range of external connections is amazing, you can connect this hifi your TV, PC, etc, this is very useful. I would definately recommend a kenwood hifi to anybody that requires a reliable quality hifi....

The Vacuum that refuses to clean
Review of Kenwood VC 6200 by
David515
Advantages: It's shiny and Red
Disadvantages: As much use as a Chocolate Tea pot
...This Kenwood vacuum looks splendid, is relatively high powered and is bagless which of course means more suck.
Apart from the fact that it can't stay on its wheels it only has one real design flaw.
It doesn't really get on with dust.
The filters block, the suction is lost and the finer particles of dust simply fly out of the back.
I have persevered with this machine. After spending the last hour dragging the thing around the upstairs of my home, using nothing but the end of the tube to make up for the lack of suction, I turned the thing off and good portion of what I sucked up, spilled out.
Frustrated? Annoyed? No more like bemused. Kenwood have a good reputation, I have a vacuum that sucks really well as long as I don't want it to clean!...
