Will leave you feeling warm and smug
Review of Kenwood TT290 by  smudgenskunk

Advantages: toasts perfectly and quickly, turns off if jammed, reheat feature, warming tray
Disadvantages: white plastic finish

...Making a purchase of a toaster is not really a life changing experience yet it can make a significant dent in your own financial situation with new models hitting the market costing in excess of £200 because they have numerous slots and compartments to crisp, lightly toast, reheat and quite possibly self clean. I don't buy into the whole "you get what you pay for" mantra and believe that if a product is cheap enough its good enough especially when it has only one main function. Remember this as I now sell you the Kenwood TT290 a 2 slice toaster, an amazing discovery that costs less than £20. Whilst the TT290 may not win any awards at London Fashion Week or be voted the most pleasing on the eye gadget by Which? magazine what it lacks in style it more than makes up for in terms of performance, features, safety and the ease with which... Curvy Kenwood Toasts Well
Review of Kenwood TT290 by  copycontrol

Advantages: Nice design, easy controls, easy to clean and maintain.
Disadvantages: Not many

...We've had this toaster now for the last three years; it replaced our old Philips toaster which ran for approximately 10 years. I'd say the build quality on it is much lighter than our Philips but crucially the controls are easier to use since there are three options plus the normal browing dial you'll usually find on other toasters. ~~ Features ~~ The beauty of the Kenwood is that it has a cancel button, a reheat button and defrost button which means that unless your bread is completely fresh you can still pop in a slice of bread which has at least some frozen part to it - as the manual says though it cannot defrost a frozen slice and for safe concerns to defrost bread in a microwave before putting it into the Kenwood. There is also a slider option too when ever the Kenwood is used; when for example you slide bread into the toaster... Read review

A Toast to Kenwood!
Review of Kenwood TT920 by  sarab20

Advantages: Simple controls, easy enough to use, toasts 4 slices in one go!
Disadvantages: Struggles on home baked bread, body doesn't always stay cool in use, availability

...and bread!! Measuring 27.5cm length by 16cm width and 16.5cm height, it is quite a long and squat looking toaster but I'm lucky because I have an open plan kitchen with tall cupboards and a lot of space. Price One of the factors which attracted me to the Kenwood was the price. At Argos it wasn't the highest priced toaster on sale and indeed I liked the matt finish and chrome inserts, (whilst also being attracted by the cool wall design on both sides) and at £23-99 it looked like it could handle any job I need for any of my bread favourites. It is however no longer on sale at Argos but it is viewable on Kenwood's home website and importantly don't be confused by the number as the TT290 is a different 2 slice toaster as opposed to this bigger metal and black matt finish 4 slice model. Features For example the Kenwood has quite a few... Read review

Kenwood 2-Slice Toaster TT350 - A Review
Review of Kenwood TT 350 Toasters by  freelancer1

Advantages: Fair price. Defrost and reheat functions. Overheating protection.
Disadvantages: A bit bulky, warming rack seems a little pointless.

...I bought this toaster when I refitted my kitchen a few years back, and it has served me well. If you are considering buying it, though, there are a few things you should know... The Kenwood 2-Slice Toaster with Warming Rack TT350 (White) is Just Like Your Average Toaster.. Put in bread, push down handle, toast pops out. Simple. ...But a Little Bit Nifty... The Kenwood 2-Slice Toaster with Warming Rack TT350 (White) has a few notable features that you might not find on a standard toaster: *Brownness dial - you rotate it to adjust the darkness of your slice (or in my case, what shade of burnt you want). *Reheat... We all love Toast, so here's the Toaster for you!
Review of Kenwood TTM312 by  Mr.Freeman

Advantages: It makes perfect toast and panninnis for you!
Disadvantages: None

...A toaster is......in essence.....a toaster! But with a toaster not only comes the need to cook bread, but the need to cook it well and precisely. Now we've all had over done bread, and it may just be one of the most irritating events experienced in the morning. The Kenwood solves these problems and do so with a smile on its metallic face. So what makes the Kenwood so appealing? Well let's begin... Firstly bread is not only the one food type for this device. The extra wide panels can be used to create delicate and tasty panninnis that are worthy of reastaurants world wide! And with width comes length to ensure that even the biggest pieces are covered and cooked. A crumb tray that detcahes ensures no wiping after, so you can enjoy your food without looking at what you've got to lean up after. With most toasters, a cool wall... Read review

Great Kenwood Kettle
Review of Kenwood SJ367 by  saraha007

Advantages: Looks Great, Boils Fast and its Cordless!
Disadvantages: Being Silver it does show up any water, splash marks

...I have had my Kenwood Kettle now for 6 months and it is great. My previous kettle wasn't cordless and it was a terrible job trying to de-scale the kettle inside, but the Kenwood kettle I have no problems with what so ever. I have only had to de-scale this kettle once in the whole 6 months which was a very straight forward job as there are no elements inside the actual kettle. One of the main reasons I got this kettle is because I don't like having to wait around for ages for the kettle to boil. This one boils in under 2 minutes which isn't long at all. I also like this kettle as there is also a matching style of toaster you can get. I got mine from the argos catalogue and the kenwood toaster looks great next to the matching style of kettle. I do think that £39.99 is quite a steep price for a kettle, although having said that I have... Read review

When I'm Hot I Pop !!!
Review of Kenwood TT 900 by  jenny76

Advantages: Very Modern
Disadvantages: Tad Expensive

...Why I Bought It After my burning experience with the Dualit toaster I bought I decided to replace it pretty quickly so got online and started to read up on what toasters actually did what they should and did not cause nasty burns when trying to remove your toast and that's when I found the very elegant and brilliantly designed Kenwood TT900 yes I know it sounds like a sports car but past that it really is the bees knees. I paid £49.99 from the Kenwood store and it was delivered next day free of charge. Setting Up The Toaster. Setting up the toaster was very simple and the instructions were very straightforward. The only real setting up is taking out of the box and placing where you want it to live and plugging it in. Once you have done this you are ready for toast there are no fiddly settings just a simple sliding switch to adjust... Read review

simply satisfactory
Review of Kenwood TT230 Toasters by  lipgloss

Advantages: higher lift lever, good thermostat
Disadvantages: not many special features. Basic model.

...This model is quite a basic, but totally satisfactory toaster. A good choice if you're short of cash, or just don't want anything fancy. the most helpful feature that I think it has is the higher lift lever. You can lift your bread or rolls up an extra inch if you are having trouble getting them out once they're done. Very handy. The setting knob is reliable, and doesn't burn. I have had toasters in the past where setting one doesn't quite toast enought, but two onwards burns. The crumb tray is very easy to remove, replace and to clean. It is an attractive modern shape of a toaster. Not suitable if you regularly toast thick slices, or big rolls etc, but otherwise it's a wise investment. No complaints.... Read review

Kenwood toaster
Review of Kenwood TT 320 by  sarahlouduck

Advantages: Warming rack, high rise lift, cool wall body
Disadvantages: Stainless steel

...I've had this toaster for about 18 months now and because of the safety elements i wouldn't be without it. It has a cool wall stainless steel exterior and a cord storage underneath, which i've found are very useful when you have small children. There is also an auto shut off if a slice of bread gets stuck, which is useful as it is very quiet when it pops up. There is 5 browning settings including one for the warming rack, which is great for crumpets, croissants etc. although i've found it to be quite slow for this purpose. The high rise lift is quite usefull for smaller slices of bread and the crumb tray is quite big, although it doesn't catch all the crumbs and I have to clean the surface underneath after every use because of this. It is great for thin or medium sliced bread but i've found it hard to fit thick slices of bread into it... Read review

Kenwood does it again
Review of Kenwood TT920 by  KPN7

Advantages: Does exactly what it says on the tin
Disadvantages: Toasts bread slightly well done at times

...I simply love my Kenwood appliances. I just cant get enough of them. They are stylish, durable and very good performers. I cant fault any of the general appliances which I have purchased and this is exactly the same. It does exactly what it sets out to do. Simple as that. Firstly it is stylish with its black matt edges and clean matte white finish. You wouldnt think that it would be stylish but it pulls it off and looks good in any kitchen. I personally feel like that however. It uses small plastic knobs and some how pulls it off. There is also a small kenwood logo on the main section of the toaster which is suprising as Kenwood tend to have an extremely large logo placed on them. Hmmm. It also comes with a high lift which helps to ensure that you're precious fingers dont get burnt too much. Such as simple feature, however so many... Read review
