...Truly the best holiday experience I have ever had, we couldn't have found a better safari company during our trip to Kenya this summer. For us, an African safari was a once in a lifetime opportunity. We saw the most amazing sites, from the hot springs of Lake Bygoria to the majestic creatures that inhabit the Masai Mara plains. These things would have been unforgettable regardless, but it was such a relief that we could enjoy them and not have to worry about the logistics of the tour. Everything was taken care of and Magical Africa even arranged our travel onto Mombasa without taking a shilling in commission. Iron animal safari

Advantages: Great value, great fun, fantastic lunch, stunning views, the only way to see the countryside
Disadvantages: THe visit to the Turkish home was very uncomfortable

...of transport is not really an option for me. Luckily, most tourist destinations offer a jeep safari and Dalyan is one of those places. A jeep allows the ?al fresco? experience, and with the capability of going both off and on road it is a great way of seeing the sites. Tour operators There are many different operators offering the jeep safari in Dalyan, including Kaunos Tours (who we went with), Ertac, Brilliant Tours and Ozalp amongst many others. On our tour, we saw many of the other operators at various places throughout the day, therefore suggesting that the route around Dalyan is pretty standard. Even those who have closed hearts and minds will be softened and astounded by the vast and immense grounds and gratifying atmosphere this park holds. Amazing Kenya

Advantages: Too many to list here - see review
Disadvantages: Been quite a lot of trouble there this year

...and if no-one buys their items they make no money, it is difficult not to buy something from everyone. We spent an afternoon in the hippo and crocodile park (on a trip run by Severin) in Mombasa. This was great as we got to see hippos and crocodiles up close which we had not got to do on safari. We also got to feed giraffes! This park is not expensive and only takes around 2 to 3 hours to go round so is well worth a visit one afternoon. Be warned though it is a very humid place and would probably not be suitable for everyone! We met a local at the hotel who provided holidaymakers with trips into Mombasa for a small fee. I definetly recommend going with someone as they know all the right places to go. During our last day in Kenya we asked him to take us out of Mombasa to see the "real" side of Kenya. ...Myself my partner and a few friends decided that we would have a day out to Longleat Safari Park on the Bank holiday Monday, I had been to Longleat before but when I was a child, it was a great day out back then and I was hoping it would be even better all these years later. As it was a bank holiday that we where planning on going on we knew it would be busy so we set of at 8.30am to get there for when it opened which was 10am and I'm so glad we did that because as we predicted it got incredibly busy later on. ...After buying a new hamster a few months back now, we decided to treat it to a brand new cage, get rid of the old hamster and gerbil cage and buy a new one, the fact was though that we didn't have that much money to spend on one.
