Postage & Packaging: £1.99 Availability: available
Advantages: Good price, nice chicken. Disadvantages: Chips are normally nasty, long queues, dirty tables to sit on.
...the right blend without being too over-powering, it has this delicious taste to it that just makes me want to go back for more time and time again!
The chips are a real disappointment though and are pretty similar to McDonalds chips in that they are either over-salted, cold or both! But then I am enjoying the chicken and the corn on the cob too much to care about some cold chips!
Another speciality of KFC is the bargain bucket and this is normally around £10 for which you will receive 8 pieces of chicken (cuts may vary), 4 chips and normally two side orders. There are different variations of the bucket meals and you might also get boneless chicken, popcorn chicken, mini fillet burgers, bottles of drink or even desserts such as vienetta and ice cream etc.
You can sit down or take away your food to eat wherever you feel like it. In my...

Review of KFC
Advantages: Great Chicken Disadvantages: Not one near to my home
...INTRODUCTION
I have been to KFC many times in recent years, despite there not being many KFC restaurants near where I live. Every time I have loved the food, however until now I never felt the urge to write an opinion about KFC. Even when the Chain Restaurant Competition on Ciao was announced, I still didn’t feel inspired to write about KFC. So what has changed? Well, at the weekend for the first time me and my grandparents bought one of KFC’s famous Family ‘Bucket’ meals, although it wasn’t in a bucket, and I found this to be an interesting experience and very satisfying all round. So now I have done some research, and here goes – my first restaurant opinion. Enjoy.
BACKGROUND
KFC is a fast food chain restaurant that I believe is an American franchise in its origin. It is similar in concept...

Review of KFC
Advantages: Great taste but... Disadvantages: Unhealthy; dreadful chips; worst of all, they are propping up low welfare standards for chickens
...Bear with me on this one - I have written this review in a way that is not normal for me but here goes...
---KFC - A personal view---
Right, here are the facts as I see them:
1 - I LOVE KFC!
2 - I have to walk past a KFC every day on my way home from work - this is a very bad thing.
3 - I LOVE KFC!
Here are some more important facts:
1 - KFC are one of the country's largest purchasers of chicken.
2 - All of their chicken options are made from chickens who spend their entire lives in a cramped shed with no natural light in really bad conditions.
Here is a final fact before I get on with the rest of the review:
1 - I will not buy KFC until there is a free range option.
---KFC - A proper review---
KFC (or PFK - Poulet Frit du Kentucky - if you are in Quebec!) has been serving up various sorts of fried chicken...

Review of KFC
Advantages: Very Very Tasty Disadvantages: Quite Fattening
...I find Kentucky Fried Chicken is perfect for those moments when I can?t be bothered to cook anything. There is also one located only about 5 minutes walk away from where I live and I swear that sometimes they must deliberately waft the smell in my direction, through my open window and straight into my nostrils, which niggles at my sub conscience and triggers off a craving.
Colonel Sanders first introduced KFC to the world back in 1939, when Original recipe Kentucky Fried chicken was unveiled. Although it was not until the 1960?s that it first arrived in the UK where there are now over 500 outlets.
Even today the Original recipe Kentucky fried chicken is still Mr Sanders most famous creation with its secret blend of 11 herbs and spices and I must confess this is generally what I opt for. It is available in a combination...

Review of KFC
Advantages: Can be nice, depends on where you go Disadvantages: Can be disgusting, and 'untrained' staff
...Of course I'm not being serious, it doesn't make you chuck up, but depending on where you go it comes close. You probably realise Chicken has to be very thoroughly cooked, otherwise viruses (Salmonella etc) can spread easliy.
Well, okay KFC tend to cook the chicken right, but the fries aren't always properly done. You can still taste the raw potato, which helps to put you off the rest of your meal.
The chicken itself it usually okay, sometimes a bit overcooked but not bad. You tend to get 'unidentifiable' chicken bits, even if you sit there like a melon for 5 minutes trying to figure out where it came from. This tends to happen more with a bucket though.
Standard meals are from 3.00, buckets from 7.99 and extra chicken is from about 1 pound a piece.
Customer service isn't bad, but twice I've been over-ordered and once under...

Review of KFC
Advantages: Tasty food, good staff Disadvantages: Dirty working conditions, some small shops have bad floor layout.
...What is KFC?
Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is a food outlet which sells…you guessed it fried chicken. KFC outlets are situated in practically all major cities and is without a doubt a popular takeaway with all ages. The thing I feel makes KFC popular is the fact they are a different style of takeaway compared with the likes of McDonalds and Burger King as they provide the customer a different style of food.
**************************************************
Restaurant layout
In the area I live we have about four KFC's which all vary in different sizes ranging from a size of
an average newsagents to a rather large takeaway outlet. The one I am going to focus on is the KFC nearest to me which is located in the area of Shirley…just outside of Southampton city centre. As soon as you walk into the building...
Advantages: Great tasting fast food usually Disadvantages: Drive through is a bit dodgy
...Yesterday, I must confess I was in no mood for cooking. I know lazy old me so I asked my husband to go to the local KFC drive through and pick up some food for us all for dinner.
I have eaten many times in KFC and have always found all there food tasty and hot, well prepared and served fresh and hot. That is until Yesterday.
We ordered the KFC Variety bucket at £12.99.
What is the Variety Bucket?
-----------------------------------------
Eight pieces of the original recipe chicken,
Four crispy chicken strips,
A regular portion of popcorn chicken,
Six regular fries,
One pot of coleslaw
One pot of beans
1.5 litre of Pepsi
We only live about four minutes drive from the KFC drive through so you expect the food to be still hot by the time my husband arrived home.
I had three major problems with this meal yesterday...

Review of KFC
Advantages: Good selection, good food, good service, good prices.. Disadvantages: Small outlets in slightly inconvenient places. Only "good".
...If you’re somebody with exotic (and expensive) taste buds then you are probably reading the wrong opinion, because this is the third (and probably final) of my opinions on fast-food, to see how the Colonel’s chicken joints shape up to the more traditional beefy delights of McDonald’s (4 stars) and Burger King (3 stars). Now it might go without saying, but Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) isn’t exactly Szechwan or Peking, it is distinctly Kentucky. What on earth is that meant to mean? I mean it is convenient, fattening and of course tasty. Obvious? Well there you go then, still 20 words short of the minimum.
~The Long March~
The institution that we know as KFC began in 1952 when Colonel Harland Sanders’ first sold the franchise to the KFC “special recipe”. Over the relatively few years since it...

Review of KFC
...Sorry about the pun but I just couldn't think of a 1/2 decent title to start this review off with. I mean the chicken puns have been over done so I thought I would do it about chickens off spring.
Anyway onto the review KFC has to be the best of the fast-food joints available in Britain at the moment. It takes the delicious succulent ness of Chicken and covers it with the colonel's secret recipe.
For those of you not in the know KFC stands for Kentucky Fried Chicken. Kentucky because that?s where the Colonel comes from, Fried because it is, well, fried and Chicken because it is chicken meat that is fried.
The chicken is fried in the Colonels 'Secret Recipe'. Many people (i.e. supermarkets) have tried to copy this recipe but have failed and, to be honest, failed extremely miserably. Most of them just end up tasting like fried...

Review of KFC
Advantages: Great Chicken, Variety of Meals, Speediness of Service, Drinks, Ketchup Pots, (not sachets). Disadvantages: Staff are a bit Weird, Cleanliness, Buildings, Locations, Stickyness.
...Firstly, we went to KFC when most other places were closed, or at least the nice ones. We were quite glad we did go to KFC, because the food there was quite nice. Although the place was a bit dingy, it was good enough and the food was excellent.
What KFC Serves?
KFC serves, (obviously), Kentucky fried chicken. This is a lovely piece of chicken, usually breast, (occasionally leg), and put in a slightly spicy batter. It is crunchy to bite into but the chicken is tender and cooked very well, every time. KFC also serve a wide variety of different salads, and things called twisters. These are pieces of KFC, put inside a tortilla, (slightly like a savoury pancake), and have lettuce, tomato and other sauces in them. I?ve never tried one of these before but most people that have tell me that they are very nice. They also...
