...This is a good quality product that offers good value for money in the very short term. Although as with most electronic products, the value will deteriorate over time and should be able to get a cheaper version next year. It's a great little device with plenty of features that I would highly recommend. This really is a wonderful piece of kit that should go well with many accessories because it really looks good. Olympus E-30. Still not up there with the big boys?

Advantages: Fold out LCD screen, Image Stabilization, Zuiko lens quality, Picture quality, Flash options
Disadvantages: Noise in low light, Too many buttons, Badly laid out, Too many gimmicks

...The E-30 is Olympus's own stepping-stone between the so-called "prosumer" models (what an awful word) and the E-3 professional SLR, being loosely comparable with the likes of the Canon EOS 50D, the Nikon D90 and the Sony Alpha A-350. It shares a lot of the E-3's features and has even overtaken the E-3 in terms of resolution, offering 12mp compared with the E-3's 10. Unfortunately - or fortunately, depending on your opinion - some of its features are things that serious photographers don't really want on their cameras and definitely push the E-30 towards the hobby photographers rather than the professionals. The E-30 doesn't share the E-3's weatherproof casing, in fact it is built from a plastic/fibre-glass composite material, which helps to keep the weight down and, surprisingly to me, doesn't make it feel cheap. ...13 going on 30 is a favourite of mine. I am a big chick flick fan and when I saw this advertised at the cinema, I decided to go and see it. I was not disappointed and have since purchased this on DVD. The plot of the film is that there is a young girl called Jenna who longs to be popular. It is her 13th birthday and the cool girls in the gang called the six chicks tell her they will come to her party if she does their group project for them, they even promise to bring Chris Grady Jennas dreamboy. Before the party Jenna is reading Poise magazine and an article about women who are thirty called 'thirty, flirty and thriving. She tells her mum that she wants to be thirty but her mum tells her to enjoy being young. 30 Days of Night!

Advantages: Great vampire horror!
Disadvantages: Too much gore ... if you're squeamish that is!

...I first saw this film in the cinema, and I also went and purchased the DVD as soon as it was released because I thought it was such a good film. The Movie is a Horror / thriller about vampires, directed by DaviD Slade, and starring Josh Hartnett and Melissa George as the leading roles. The film is set in a small Alaskan town called Barrow. Eben Oleson (Josh Hartnett) is the local Sheriff, who is aided by his separated wife Stella Oleson (Melissa George). Once a year, the town of Barrow is plunged into darkness for 30 days, and during this particular blackout, the town is set upon by a group of bloodthirsty creatures.
