Binatone e800 - the budget handset

Advantages: Cheap

In our office however, we have dedicated support PC's which we constantly need to move to from our own PC's. As it was getting silly with trailing wires all over the office floor, the boss decided to buy us a new hands free phone kit. The kit he went for was the Binatone E800 twin set. K800i Silver

Advantages: Style, Camera, Multimedia, ease of use, hands free
Disadvantages: Lens cover opening, not quite perfect OS

...We've all seen, used or at least heard about the Sony Ericsson (SE from now on) K range which hit the big time with the K700i and has continued to better it's self every time since. The K700i was simple but very effective candy bar phone with a reasonable camera (up with the best of it's time) a large in built memory system and mp3 and radio useage. But had the poor quality screen as a downfall. The K750 took it a stage further with with better quality camera and screen resolution, but had the knack of having a dodgy stick, and their was no lens cover. The K800i though blows all the previous models out of the water. The phone now well known for the advertising campaign running strongly on the fact of the 3.2 MP camera, rather than the other great feature the phone has. THE SUPERB K800i

Advantages: Easy to use, looks smart, plenty of features
Disadvantages: None

...as you want as you would with an ordinary camcorder. The more free memory on your phone the longer you can make your film. There are also the usual camera effects such as sepia, black and white, solarize, etc. You can choose to take pictures in either portrait or landscape and alter the size of the pictures. My favourite feature on the camera is the frames that you can add around your photo. I have taken quite a few photos, some during the day when it is bright, some in the evening when it is duller and even some in the dark and every single one has been perfect. I cannot fault this camera. THE SCREEN ~~~~~~~~~~~~ The screen is a nice size and I have had no problems seeing anything on it. Kewl 800i

Advantages: Good Camera, easy to use menu
Disadvantages: Easily scrarched screen, poor battery!

...I have recently aquired myself the new sony ericsson k800i on a deal with vodafone. I've had the phone about 3 weeks now and am mostly happy with it! The menu is simple and easy to use with icons that display well what they mean! The toggle button works well enabling moving around the menu easy and slick! I haven't personally used the mp3 function much though when i have it has worked well with good sound quality all the time. The camera is excellent with a 3.2 megapixel cybershot and fantastic flash that enables good photographs to be taken even at night or in dark rooms! The video function isn't great it works in well lit areas but struggles in low light as most video phones do! The only real problem that i have had with the phone is that while texing i reguarly press the take photo button on the right hand side of he phone...

Yelo 800 DVD

Advantages: An excellent all round DVD player

...The YELO 800DVD This item is well worth the money, it is very easy to install, and has some outstanding features for the price. I have waited for ages to buy a DVD player preferring to use the one in my PC coupled to a 19inch monitor and 5.1 home audio speaker system and as good as that was for a temporary measure it wasn't exactly home entertainment...the Yelo even recognised MP3's that I had recorded on my CDR/CDRW very impressive!! I was also very pleasantly surprised at how well the Yelo integrated into my current Technics Amplifier system....as a seasoned global traveller I also wanted a DVD drive which would play ALL regions without any hitches and of course the Yelo does......if you are looking for a good quality product with a package of features that only comes with much more expensive players then you should seriously...
