...Omar Khan's is a fairly traditional Indian restaurant situated in the centre of Bradford. We were in town for a weekend of curry and had eaten lunch that day at a very modern establishment so I wanted to go for the more traditional British "curry house" in the evening. I found Omar Khan's listed on the Visit Bradford website and a look at the restaurants own website was encouraging. The restaurant is situated on the south side of the city centre, beside the national Television and Media Museum and the Alhambra Theatre. The restaurant has a small car-park but there are other car-parks nearby and it's a five minute walk to the train and bus stations at Bradford Interchange. Advantages: Wonderful food, healthy options, great value

It serves beautifully cooked and presented food, the atmosphere is colourful, and the decor would put some more expensive restaurants to shame. Khans can be found at 13-15 Westbourne Grove, WC2, just down the road from Bayswater tube station. It was founded in 1977 and is still a family-run business. It's open 7 days, including Bank Holidays, from 12 noon till midnight, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but closes between 3pm and 6pm Monday-Thursday. Firstly: an update. ...This restaurant is a one pony trick. But don't think of that as a disadvantage, its what makes this place so good. The simple idea behind Khublai Khan is that for your main meal, you take a bowl, fill it with your own choice of the rice/noodles,veg and meat on offer, and then concoct your own sauce from the wide range of sauces and spices provided. You then hand your bowl over, and watch as your food is cooked on a massive hotplate, supposedly reminiscent of the monogolian soldiers who cooked their food on an upturned shield. It's a modern take on an old tradition, and as its in the trendy part of the inner city, the decor is modern, although a mural of mongolian soldiers dominates one wall. The staff are quite helpful, unpretentious, and don't intrude too much on your meal, which is a blessing in glasgow sometimes...

Hours Would Seem Like Days.......

Advantages: Revitalised and refreshed background stories.
Disadvantages: Kirk and Khan never meet face to face!

The crew of the Reliant are looking for a suitable planet that must be baron of life to test the Genesis device. On what they think is a baron planet, they discover is an old enemy of Kirk's from the past who wants revenge. His name is Khan Noonian Singh and Kirk exiled Khan for attempting to take control of the Enterprise 15 years before. Khan steals the Reliant to find Kirk. Admiral Kirk accompanies the now promoted Captain Spock on a training cruise with the full compliment of cadets. Without any notice Enterprise is met by the Reliant.....
