...The Khyam Michigan 12 was only made in 2007 so can be hard to come by now. But if you are after a large, well set out tent, and you find one of these then grab it whilst you can. The tent is an outer pitch first, or all in one. Personally we leave the inners in place which reduces the pitching time. The tent itself is large and can be difficult and heavy to put up. Saying that I am under 5ft and have limited mobility so if me and hubby can put it up between us then I'm sure others could easily. We have reduced the pitching time to around 30 - 45 minutes now, which is not bad considering. One good thing though, is that although the tent is large it still fits on most pitches so no extra charges. The tent has 3 inners. All or some can be removed if wanted. The largest is 6 berth. Review of Khyam Michigan Family Tunnel Tent

Khyam Vector PoP Up Tents.

Advantages: So auick & easy! Saves you getting wet when others are still constructing...
Disadvantages: None that I can think of!

...'s run over a car in St Malo (as mine was!) Although I bodged it together for the rest of the trip you'll be glad to know that parts were readily available on my return & the prices weren't bad either!!! Mine is the older door each side design which has since been changed to a door with single zip on the opposing side - not as usefull & a shame in my mind. My sister has replaced the fly on hers with one of these new models & although not as good as the two full doors it is still better than most. Weighs about 2kg or just over I think & pack size is sausage shaped measuring approx 500mm long with a 200mm Diameter which just about fits on a pannier rack or in a pack. There are many tents in the Khyam range; the Vector is about the smallest going right up to a double bedroomed affair which has living space, where it is tall enough...

Yipee khyam

Advantages: Its sooo easy

...This is the most convenient, quick to erect and roomy tent on the market and is excellent value for money. Now with an opening like that the review better prove it to you. But I am so convinced of my words that this is the first new product I have suggested to ciao and as such thought it only polite to be the first to review it. The khyam rapidex ridgi dome system is revolutionary, gone are the days of feeding the poles through the canvas before you can put it up, or standing inside a tent holding it still while someone else does the boy scout thing and pulls the canvas over the top. My Tent with Rooms

Advantages: Breathable fabric keeps cool in the heat and warm when it is cooler
Disadvantages: It is quite weighty and quite expensive

A 4 man tent with no men! (HONEST)!!

Advantages: Just a cool looking, well designed and functional tent.

The tent in question was a Confidence Mars 4 Man Waterproof Dome Tent and although it is a 4 ?MAN? tent there were only me and my two girlfriends staying in this one (well that?s my story and I am sticking to it)! Now I am no camper so I cannot really give too much comparison between this tent and any other except to say it was worlds apart from the old tents I used to camp in as a kid. This tent has one separate bedroom compartment with zippers which would have been useful if any of us had picked up some guy and needed a bit of privacy (BUT WE DIDNT)!! It is an action man tent, very safe and well made, and he often plays with it for hours, either in his bedroom or out in the garden (weather permitting). He has even slept in it on some nights (in his room). The good thing about these is that they are very real-like, and with one twist they are packed away! So, for something that took up loads of room one minute, has now been slid under the bed, or hung up in it's carry case behind the door. I have now seen that they make an assortment of these play tents, and they range in price. Review of Play Tents

Tents and 2 children under 3- what a match

Advantages: Easy and straight forward to erect.
Disadvantages: Not suitable for a larger family.

...Not- is the continuation of the title, especially when its your first time camping with them, Callum 2 years 8 months and Lucy 10mths (fast crawler!). This was also the first time my husband had put up this tent, and it was late and we were both tired hungry and irritable and so were the kids. Now add windy to this scene as well and me having to hold on to the tent whilst hubby knocks in the pegs and if I had been watchinh instead of doing then I would probably have been in hysterics. TENT; 3 poles and you're up! room for 3 little ones? vaude campo

Advantages: Light weight ,extremely quick and easy to put up and take down .
Disadvantages: not sure how to stay warm .but thats not the tents fault!

I've had this tent for a couple of years now well more like 4-5 years. At the time of purchase you could get in in Argos for about £160.00 but I managed to get it sent from a German supplier who was selling them on eBay . It cost about £104.00 in all including p+p.
