The Cerato 1.5 CRDI is packed with features, full electric windows which can be operated from the drivers door, electric heated mirrors(very handy) door locking function, window locking function, again both operated from the drivers door. A/C, Power streeing, CD/Mp3 playey with six speakers. Funky little sunglass holder in the roof space. Space: Front space is good for a medium family car, with the multiple seat positions that you can choose there is no real loss of space in the rear. Rear: Again the space is good for a medium family car, head height is something that could be improved but not a major issue. A amajor plus from KIA is that they include ISOFIX points for child seats as standard in all their cars...

...Having 5 children we needed some thing a bit bigger than the rover we had. We started to look around and visit web sites for a people carrier. We also looked at the ones that we passed on the road and saw the Kia Sedona. It looked very spacious, a nice smooth curvy body. We went to our local Kia dealers and had a look at the different models of Sedona they had. We didn?t want a second hand one in case anything happened to it we would not of had a fall back plan. We looked at the Kia Sedona SX and decided that this was the one for our family and us. We could fold all the back seats down and push them forward and have a large backspace if we needed it, also when the seats were upright and pushed forward there was quite a lot of space in the boot department, which we were surprised about. Advantages: Good Fuel Economy, Interesting Looks

...Having a family of 4 as well as 3 Boisterous Labradors I was looking for a car with Space and Style that would not need Refuelling twice a week. The Salesman was well informed and seemed to have a genuine passion when selling the finer points of the car, which is always encouraging. But did I want a Kia Sedona? The wonderfull Kia Picanto

Advantages: A wonderfull nippy, well designed and comfortable car with surprisingly a lot of room

Disadvantages: 'Unknown' name - for all you brand 'snobs'!

...We purchased our 2.9 CRDi Kia Sedona in May this year. Why, oh why did we not do it sooner. How many journeys did we endure with the tedious whining of "Are we nearly there yet?" " How much further?" "Mum, he/she/its hitting me...?" - if you have children you know the sentences... We've just come back from a camping holiday in the UK that involved a 3.5 hr journey, and I can not wait to go to France involving a 10 hr journey in 10 days time, yes, I can not wait to do such a long journey, with our children. I never thought I'd say that, but... With air conditioning, comfy seats, a high ride position, and in-car DVD system (with infa-red headphones, so we can have our own music at the front), journeys are a doddle. Kia Sedona 2.9LX CRDi 2002 Model

Advantages: Cheap to buy, roomy, versatile.
Disadvantages: Expensive parts and servicing, poor quality trim.

...Sedona is on its 3rd pump, injectors and pipes. (10000mls and 24000mls)and I know of one other locally.Dealer was not allowed to tell me how many others are involved. Another thing to consider is the warranty. Mine is 3 years unlimited mileage and now it is 3 years 100000mls for new purchases. If you breakdown and the vehicle is off the road, you will be supplied with a loan car, but only for 2 days! It will not be a comparible vehicle, just a small hatchback and you have to pick up the insurance bill for it yourself(£9.00 + vat per day). I had to beg KIA Assist to let me have a vehicle for the duration of my hols which they did, but has cost me £130.00 insurance. Overall, the car is good value for money, offering more space than its rivals but I think would benefit from being fitted with the 2.5 engine as fitted to the Sorento...

...My husband and I have two Kia's, technically mine is the Kia Carens and his is the Kia Rio (well on paper anyway), but it is me that drives the Kia Rio 1.3 - mine is in metallic blue. We initially brought it as ex demo mobile when it was 5mths old with only 2000miles on the clock, me being the hard business woman (from watching all these car programmes on tv with my hubby), negotiated the price down from just over £6399, down to £5,300 and they fitted my cd player in it as well for nothing, plus taxed it for 6mths. High Maintenance KIA

Advantages: Plenty of room for those weekends away
Disadvantages: Your always wondering what will go wrong next

...miles it needed a new clutch (£450 if you haggle with the dealer, more if you don't). The clutch is not covered beyond 1K miles in the warranty. Now I've been driving for 35 years and had approx 10 cars, none of which has had clutch failure less than 50K to 60K miles and the dealer insists the wear was down to driving style. (The cheek of it) With 2 services at around £250 each. Three exhaust systems (Covered by the warranty) thats one every 8 months I could'nt recommend Kia to my worst enemy. "Or could I" !!! It does'nt end there, I now suspect the engine management system, on two occasions recently for no apparent reason the engine has accelerated, luckily the car was stationary at the time. Oh and another thing don't apply the brakes too hard on tight corners, they make a terrible noise and judder like hell. Overall it's a pity...
