From a looks point of view, this MPV is the most un-MPV looking model around. With a wide body and chunky styling it looks more like a field combat vehicle than a delivery van. The Kia Sedona is a nice car but...

Advantages: Good Fuel Economy, Interesting Looks
Disadvantages: Poor Turning Circle, Noisey Engine

...go for it. A relatively short time later (8 weeks from placing the order to driving off the forecourt) I had my Kia Sedona. The inside of the car is smart yet understated. Grey leather and fake walnut is used sparingly and the Slot type CD player is a welcome change from the type with the auto-changer in the boot. The seats are quite comfortable giving good support and the leg room is excellent on all 3 rows of seats. One problem with the seats is the weight. If you need to remove the seats for any reason they are surprisingly heavy, also I had a problem with one of the seats in that it would not click back into its runners properly when being reinstalled; I had to sit on it heavily to get it to click in. The wonderfull Kia Picanto

Advantages: A wonderfull nippy, well designed and comfortable car with surprisingly a lot of room

If you purchase this within the first 3 years of its life, it comes with the normal 3 yr warranty, also kia assist - which is a free breakdown service that takes you to the nearest kia garage and they repair it for you and get you back on the road. So that saves you money on you breakdown recovery membership, you won't need one. " How much further?" "Mum, he/she/its hitting me...?" - if you have children you know the sentences... Advantages: Cheap to buy, roomy, versatile.

...After recently returning my friend's Mazda RX7, I was in need of a car to move around with, and I got a Kia Pride at next to nothing (US $100). I figured what the heck. The car is a four door hatchback and mine came with a 1300cc engine, no power steering, automatic and air conditioning. Perfect for a fixer-upper quick-money-bringer. In terms of looks, you can't do much worse (if at all). This car is square - even Scion doesn't have a car this square and boxy, and this car was probably the inspiration for Nissan's cube. Kia Sedona LE 2004 (manual, diesel)

Advantages: Spacious interior, comfort, sliding doors, value for money.
Disadvantages: Large turning circle

...view as there is no cover over the luggage space. Talking of which, there is plenty of room for the family shop. I tend to put one of the rear seats down and go for LARGE shops. There are bag carriers on the back of the seats and these help. A handle on the inside of the hatch makes for easy closing. The rear interior lights have an on/off swith in the front so if they are accidentally left on by the children you won't get a flat battery. Fuel consumption is good - a 75 litre tank means long journeys without having to stop for fuel like we used to in our saloon, and with plenty left at the end of the journey too. Sorry, the toilet stops with children are still necessary though! When giving lifts to friends, they have all been pleasantly surprised with the comfort, expecting less for such a budget buy. ...I've had my car now for just over two years, and during that time have had no real problems with it. I think it's great and definitely worth the money. When I first went to look at the Sedona in the showroom I was a bit disconcerted by the size of it and was very tempted to opt for something smaller instead. However, once driving it, it is very easy to get used to the size. It doesn't feel as big as it is, I think mostly because it's nice and high up and very easy to see everything around you. I had got used to driving it by the time I had got it home from the dealership (about a 15 minute drive) and the size was never really an issue. As mentioned, I have never had any real problems with it, save for an issue with the clutch cable becoming a bit slack about 6 months ago, which was soon sorted out under the warranty. There...
