...At the moment I am very much into reading true stories or biographies. I am fascinated by some of the things that people have experienced and done. There are also some true stories that make me angry. Reading about some horrible things that have happened to people and things that they have gone through. A book that I took on holiday with me last year was called ‘The Kid’ written by Kevin Lewis. This book made me sad and angry. If anybody has read the book ‘A Child Called It’ by Dave Pelzer then you should read this book too. Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!!!

Disadvantages: Very easily breakable lid!

...I decided to review this kids' sunscreen as I believe it is such an important issue, having had a mole removed because it started to change shape and size, due to sun exposure. I used to visit the local sun-tanning shop on a regular basis, many years ago. Suffice to say, I've 'seen the error of my ways' and are now looking for a good 'fake tan!!!' I've used other sunscreen products many times, and have found this particular brand to be the best so far. It's difficult to protect your kids from the sun, especially when on holiday - those sandy beaches........ * floats away imagining a sandy beach, blue sky, crystal clear water ............comes back to reality with a bump - remembering to try to put sun cream on the kids without getting sand in it *..... rubbing in sand-infested sunscreen is AWFUL! ...Some sequels probably should never be made and unfortunately Karate Kid 2 is probably one of those films. Karate Kid 1 is one of my favourite 80?s movies, classic scenes (wax on, wax off ? the end fight scene) but in my opinion the magic cannot be captured again and consequently the film falls flat because of that and becomes something that we?ve seen once and don?t really need to see again in a remake. However, according to an article I read, like the original film, the sequel was also a success and earned even more at the box-office than its predecessor and considered by many fans to be the best in the series. Well, not by me but oh well. Karate Kid II was released in 1986. Advantages: no knives, no direct heat - kids can do this!
Disadvantages: some of the ingredients a bit hard to find

"Kids Kitchen" is quite simply an excellent recipe book, the blurb on the cover sums it up perfectly "100 yummy no-knives, heat-safe recipes that children can really make".
