Kid A: Follow up to Ok Computer???

Advantages: In its own Right, an absoloutely superb album
Disadvantages: people wanted another Ok Computer, treefingers is pointless song

.... Radiohead have gone into new pastures, and found they are just as good an experimental band as they are a rock one. Nothing somes the album up better than opener "everything in its right place" which before Thom even starts singing, has identified the album as different, and is a piece of melodic genius. The invented instruments, and synthesizers, are just as moving as the singing and guitar in Ok Computer, and make for a brilliant album. Jonny Greenwood (lead guitar) may be seen to be getting rather bored in the recording of this album, as his guitar is very much pushed into the background, but he deals with the synthezizers, and is the most imporant person in this album. Of cause, the album does not rely on this new direction, Thom Yorkes singing and lyrics have also been Superb for radiohead, and Kid A is no different, with song like...

Review of Spy Kids (DVD)

Good for the kids

Advantages: novelty, well built both controls and wii can take a beating, great for the family,
Disadvantages: lacks graphics, lingers further away from the older gamer, not many good games

...I bought a wii a good 6 months ago and to start with like most people I found the novelty great espeically with friends but unfortunatley after a month or two the wii just began gathering dust and eventually I sold it at christmas to a friend for her kids. I would highly recommend the wii for kids and kids only. I m 19 and besides the free wii sports you get with the console theres not much going for the older gamer. Also it gets really boring if you do not have someone else to play it with. Overall the gameplay is good the wii remote works xtremely well as long as your are within 10ft of the console it will pick up ever motion you make. This can be trick to get use to to start with but with the free wii sports game you get with the console is a great way to get ajusted to the wii and before you know it will have become second nature...

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!!!

Advantages: Adventure, being small
Disadvantages: None

...the path of Wayne?s two children Amy and Nick and the neighbourhood kids next door. Then the adventure starts for the kids!! They find themselves in the backgarden which for their size is more like a huge field with danger at every turn. They have to fight off ants, scorpions and lawnmowers which they do spectacularly well. I think it actually looked like really good fun, apart from the danger part of course. All these things are huge and it must be like being Alice in Wonderland discovering a whole new world when you are that size. Of course they come across some exciting things too. They find a cookie in the back garden with cream filling and of course to them it is huge so they can eat away to their hearts content. I haven?t watched the film for a while but I do remember the computer graphics being quite good to depict all these unreal...

...I decided to review this kids' sunscreen as I believe it is such an important issue, having had a mole removed because it started to change shape and size, due to sun exposure. I used to visit the local sun-tanning shop on a regular basis, many years ago. Suffice to say, I've 'seen the error of my ways' and are now looking for a good 'fake tan!!!' I've used other sunscreen products many times, and have found this particular brand to be the best so far. It's difficult to protect your kids from the sun, especially when on holiday - those sandy beaches........ * floats away imagining a sandy beach, blue sky, crystal clear water ............comes back to reality with a bump - remembering to try to put sun cream on the kids without getting sand in it *..... rubbing in sand-infested sunscreen is AWFUL! ...Some sequels probably should never be made and unfortunately Karate Kid 2 is probably one of those films. Karate Kid 1 is one of my favourite 80?s movies, classic scenes (wax on, wax off ? the end fight scene) but in my opinion the magic cannot be captured again and consequently the film falls flat because of that and becomes something that we?ve seen once and don?t really need to see again in a remake. However, according to an article I read, like the original film, the sequel was also a success and earned even more at the box-office than its predecessor and considered by many fans to be the best in the series. Well, not by me but oh well. Karate Kid II was released in 1986. Advantages: Beautiful, ambient, innovative...especially the innovative part. I love new stuff!
Disadvantages: Thom Yorke's vocals are tough to understand sometimes (and they aren't in the CD booklets either)
