Crocs Rock!
Advantages: see review
Disadvantages: see review
...I am on my feet a lot during the day and have to have comfortable shoes. I don't really care what they look like either! When I first came across crocs it was on the feet of a close friend. I thought they looked interesting, not gorgeous just interesting. She followed my gaze and told me they were the most comfortable shoes she had ever worn. As we have the same size feet she tossed me one to try on. It felt like heaven and I knew I would have to buy a pair!
Crocs, for those of you who don't know, are made of very lightweight rubber. They are a bit like a clog with holes around the sides and on the front. The footed has raised rubber bits in a footshape. The sole and shoe are moulded as one. The sole is ridged to make it non-slip. Crocs come in a huge range of colours including pink, blue, green and yellow to name a few.
I usually...

Ronald's Crocs!
Advantages: very light and comfortable
Disadvantages: look massive
...Everyone of us have their own impression on each item that we intend to buy. With crocs cayman shoes, I was'nt very convince of getting a pair of this shoes because I don't really like the style and design, it looks huge. I actually remember Ronald Mcdonald's shoes! But besides of that, I saw a lot of people wearing them including big time celebrities! I quite wonder what does it have to make everyone crazy enough to buy them and look silly afterwards. On the otherhand, I think they look great for children but not for adult! As I continue critisizing crocs, my very close friend got a pair and have told me that it's the most comfortable shoes she ever had. She prefered wearing them when she's out and doing her favourite weekend shopping in a car boot sale. Crocs never let her down! But still i'm not convinced.
THE ENCOUNTER...

Crocs for your feet?
Advantages: Lightweight, comfortable, easy to clean
Disadvantages: Look a bit strange on your feet
...I find it absolutely fascinating that a shoe can become a worldwide phenomenon in a matter of just a few years but it would seem that is exactly what has happened with Crocs shoes. I was curious to find out more about why that should be so I did a bit of research, ended up buying a pair, and now want to tell everyone what I discovered along the way.
Originally, Crocs Shoes were designed with the intention of creating a boating/outdoor shoe which had a slip-resistant, non-marking sole. Three guys from Colorado developed the Crocs shoe and by 2003, Crocs Footwear had become something of a phenomenon, seemingly accepted as an all purpose shoe for comfort and fashion(?).
As demand for the shoe grew they expanded the product line, added warehouses and shipping programs for speedy assembly and delivery. Today, Crocs Shoes are...

Shoe in
Advantages: Comfortable
Disadvantages: Big, ugly, flamboyantly coloured
...a wee walk around in them. And, amazingly, the ginger was right. They were the most comfortable shoes ever.
Ginger Paula explained that they?re called Crocs, are made of moulded resin and have air vents around the top and sides of the shoes to ventilate your feet and also have a textured sole that moulds to the contours of your feet. The particular resin that the shoes are made of inhibits the bacteria that make your feet smell bad when they sweat. They?re also non-slip, lightweight, non-marking and come in a wide range of lurid shades. (Actually, I?m lying. Ginger Paula only told me that they?re called Crocs. I found the rest out from their website. There is, after all, only so much you can expect from a ginger).
The best thing about them was that, aside from looking comically ridiculous, they eased the pain in my foot and I...

Crocs 'Snappy' footwear! (Sorry, I couldn't resist....)
Advantages: Comfortable, Durable, Waterproof, Fab!
Disadvantages: Not very stylish
...I love Crocs. I'm rapidly collecting them in different styles and colours and I'm doing my best to convert the world as I go. Here comes the info.....
WHAT ARE THEY?
They're shoes Jim, but not as we know them. To all intents and purposes they are beach shoes that have been moulded out of croslite material, (sorry, can't give you the chemical composition as it's a patented product) which gives them some remarkable properties. When you wear your Crocs the warmth from your feet gradually moulds the bed of the shoe to your foot, giving you the most comfortable footwear ever. They have been made with little nubbins in the sole to stimulate the bloodflow to your feet and I've found these give you a mini massage as you walk. They also claim to be anti-microbial. The best bit about Crocs is that they are completely waterproof...

The Crocs are everywhere
Advantages: Fun, light and above all else comfortable
Disadvantages: Jimmy Choo doesn't have to worry!
...Welcome to the wonderful and bright world of Crocs where celebrity fashionistas, medical and care professionals, those on their feet all day, those who walk everywhere (that would be me!), those with problem feet - oh and the boating community for which this footwear was developed all live!
I am a convert. I couldn't see what all the fuss as about untl I got given some (my sister bought my Mum the same pair as my Mum bought and I have the same size feet as my Mum). But from the moment I put them on (apart from bed and a couple of occasions when I have had to wear "proper" shoes) they have been my footwear of choice this summer.
The question posed on the website www.crocsfootwear.co.uk is simple - WHY CROCS?
The 10 Reasons given (which I shall give my humble opinion on ) are as follows:
Reason 1 Nothing is softer or more...

A Shoe for All Seasons
Advantages: Lots of colour choice, hardwearing, comfy
Disadvantages: Not the most atractive design
....
A rubbery shoe must result in smelly feet. Not this one they are odour free and you can wash them in a washing machine. With the holes in the design this allows good air circulation, but wet feet when it rains!!
If they slip off when you are paddling in the sea they float.
I didn't think that they would last very long but after 3 years heavy wear they are still in good condition.
I love my Crocs.
Also on Dooyoo....

Don't mock my Crocs
Advantages: Easy to clean, comfortable
Disadvantages: Quite expensive for what they are
....com)
Ok, so now I was being won over... though I would question point number 6, especially now every man and his dog seems to be selling replicas (even more garish than the original in some cases)! I think Crocs (or to be precise the Crocs Cayman - which to me is the definitive Croc) look pretty fugly, but when it comes to shoes I'm one for comfort not looks.
The price of Crocs Caymans is £29.99 at most websites, though special offers can be found. I bought mine from office.co.uk, in Celery green colour (as this was reduced to £19.99). I think £29.99 is quite expensive for what is no more than a pair of plastic shoes, however if you compare them as a viable alternative to something like a pair of Clarke's sandals, then the price is similar if not cheaper.
When they arrived I was quite suprised how light they feel. I have seen 'faux...

Yes I Look Silly, But Do I Care?
Advantages: Comfortable, hard wearing, colorful
Disadvantages: You might look like aclown
...I work many nights, and I've got to that certain age where at a certain time of the night my feet just explode in size, I spend much of the night in agony and often am forced to kick off my shoes in anger, before moaning to all and sundry about my poor feet.
A combination of two things the movie Idiocracy, and Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice (as well as the odd review) bought me into the new millennium and the craze that is Crocs! The style of footwear I'm referring too here are known as Caymen (the female version being called Mary Jane's). These ultra comfortable foam style footwear have got to be the most comfortable things I have EVER put on my feet. When your feet ache, what seems like endlessly it's hard to describe the pleasure of putting something on them that feels like you're walking on air. When you get problems...

Are you ready for Mr Croc?
Advantages: Bright illustrations, simple fun text, interactive features
Disadvantages: Tabs and pop-ups can be fragile
...Mr Croc is a bright, lovable and mischievous crocodile who features in a series of children's stories written by Jo Lodge. This was the story that originally introduced my two year old son to the delights of Mr Croc and we have since gone on to read and enjoy several others in the series.
'Ready or Not, Mr Croc' follows Mr Croc as he is getting dressed, giving the author the opportunity to introduce little ones to clothing items and colours. This is beautifully incorporated into the simple text, rather than being one of those boring baby books. With Mr Croc, children will be learning and storing up information without even realising it.
The book starts with the simple refrain 'Mr Croc, are you ready or not?' which is repeated throughout the story. Firstly, Mr Croc is busy putting on his 'blue jeans', then his 'yellow jumper', 'red...
