...What an Island! I went to Zanzibar last year with the rest of my family where we stayed in the MAPENZI BEACH CLUB HOTEL (on the east coast) over Christmas. These 10 days spent in the sun where some of the most relaxeing and enjoyable of my life. The landscape and scenery where awesome as well as peaceful. From the paradise blue and white beaches of the coast to the ragtag beauty of Stone town (the several hundred year old, Unesco World heritage city), there was a lot to explore and see. Don't miss the slave memorials and statues, the colonial house museum as well as the small streets and local shops (where you can put your price haggling skills to good use.) Dont get stuck in a rut! (The Kid)

Advantages: Lighthearted, emotional and funny

...~~~The Kid~~~ Disney films are not usually my first choice when looking for something to watch, however they are often the films I end up watching when im flicking through the tv channels on a weekend. I came across this film purely by accident and I was surprised to see the 2000 film's leading man was none other than action man himself Bruce Willis. This story is basically a family film about a washed up image consultant played by Bruce Willis (Russ) who finds that magically an 8 year old version of himself appears by his side played by Spencer Breslin (Rusty). With no friends or woman, problems with his dad and several mistakes in his past its actually a blessing in disguise that 'the kid' has come to help him recapture some of the magic of his youth. Hopefully in the process he can change the present by confronting he mistakes...

Behind Enemy Lines

Advantages: Entertaining the whole way through

...Last night Behind enemy lines was on Film Four and I thought I?d give it ago, I had never heard of the film before and so did not know what to expect, I always give the info on the TV a read before getting into a new film as unfortunately I am one of the Biased people of the world who find a film more worth trying if it has good actors and a good synopsis. Judging a book by its cover and all that (slap on the wrists). First impressions Before the film had started I had my doubts, the cast of actors includes Owen Wilson, and after seeing more than a fair share of his films, I was doubtful to whether he could pull off what was being described on the TV info as an ?action/thriller? I have never seen him in a serious role and although this gave doubts it also intrigued me into seeing the film and made me want to see if he would fail...

...Well I thought I'd ease myself back into the Ciao way of life with a fairly trivial, yet insightful "review" of the 10 best lines from songs. There are also some true stories that make me angry. Reading about some horrible things that have happened to people and things that they have gone through. A book that I took on holiday with me last year was called ‘The Kid’ written by Kevin Lewis. This book made me sad and angry. If anybody has read the book ‘A Child Called It’ by Dave Pelzer then you should read this book too. ...I decided to review this kids' sunscreen as I believe it is such an important issue, having had a mole removed because it started to change shape and size, due to sun exposure. I used to visit the local sun-tanning shop on a regular basis, many years ago. Suffice to say, I've 'seen the error of my ways' and are now looking for a good 'fake tan!!!' I've used other sunscreen products many times, and have found this particular brand to be the best so far. It's difficult to protect your kids from the sun, especially when on holiday - those sandy beaches........ * floats away imagining a sandy beach, blue sky, crystal clear water ............comes back to reality with a bump - remembering to try to put sun cream on the kids without getting sand in it *..... rubbing in sand-infested sunscreen is AWFUL! ...In 2004 the band rose to fame with their 'They're Only Chasing Safety' album which sold more than 350 000 copies. Underoath came back after a 2 year wait with this album 'Define The Great Line' with which the band have a great stab at success in the metalcore genre, a genre they started off in with their first two albums 'Act of Depression' and 'Cries of the Past' before moving onto the melody, scream, repeat formula of the 'They're Only Chasing Safety' release. I feel that this was a wise move for the band as I feel that this is a genre that they do a lot more successfully, and so in returning to their roots as such the band are definitely onto a winner.
