Le Meridien Hotel, St. Julian's - Malta

...On my recent holiday to Malta i stayed in Le Meridien Hotel, located in Saint Julian's. I would not normally have stayed in a 5 star hotel, but I was lucky enough to win some money towards a holiday from the company that I work for. Obviously, with free money, you are going to push the boat out a bit, and I am glad we did!! Location/Area We arrived at the hotel in the dark, quite late on a Friday night. The taxi brought us round a few small streets and then up quite a steep hill, thus bringing us to the reception of the hotel. My first impression was that it was in quite a strange location, but this is because i had only just seen where we were, and also it was dark, so everything seems different. Advantages: Funny, energetic, funny, erudite, funny, vital, funny, you're getting my drift, right?
Disadvantages: Some over-long descriptive paragraphs, one dodgy subplot resolution, anachronism may not be for you.

A good start from Julian

Advantages: Easy read and enjoyable subject matter
Disadvantages: A bit of an obvious lead character

King of Queens

...King of Queens is an American sitcom set in New York. The King in question is Doug Heffernan and the Queens they relate to is actually the suburb of New York he lives in with his wife Carrie. I think this title is a really clever play on words and sets the scene for quite a funny sitcom in my opinion. Doug and Carrie are the main couple in this sitcom and it?s really them that the whole show revolves around. They have a nice relationship but bicker like most couples and they really play on each others stereotypes to get the laughs out of the audience. For example Doug is rather fat and so they definitely play this up on the show. He is generally always eating my Carrie facilitates this by buying him or making him his favourite foods. ...I had heard many people rave about Buffet King but had never managed to visit it myself. When I had a friend staying I decided that a buffet would be a great place for a meal as you can guarantee that there will be something that we both liked there and it would be informal and reasonably priced. Situated in Carnegie Drive, the restaurant is just a minutes walk from the bus station and there is also ample parking in the council owned car parks across the road. It?s easy to see the appeal of a buffet, you get to fill your plate with as many tasty morsels as your stomach can hold but I have found that the quality varies greatly, lets see how Buffet King measures up. A 5-star experience in St Julian's, Malta

...I admit that for some reason, I seem to be addicted to everything that I shouldn't be. I have tried & failed to have an addiction to fruit and vegetables, so I have settled for my addiction to chocolate and junk food, and convince myself that when I go to somewhere like Burger King, because of the lettuce etc on burgers, it is actually healthy! Burger King is possibly the only chain restaurant where I have found the taste of products to be consistent. Every Burger King I've been in, apart from one in Scotland, has tasted the same, which I like, as I know then what I'm getting when I order it! Burger King is slightly more expensive than other similar fast food places, but in my opinion, slightly better. a meal costs aprox £4, but there is the options to have meals as regular, large or supersize, which comes with what looks like...
