...King of the Hill is an american animated series created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels. It started production in 1997 and is currently broadcasting it's 13th season. Mike Judge is probably best known, before this, for the creation of Beavis & Butthead. In fact, there was a character on B&B that looked a little like Hank Hill and sounded exactly like him. The series revolves around the Hills, a family living in Arlen, Texas. Hank Hill is the father, a beer drinking, pick-up truck driving republican man who loves to keep his lawn trim. His wife, Peggy, is a substitute Spanish teacher who seems to have less of a good grasp of the language. Is King of the Hill Season 1 the King of Animated Comedy?

Advantages: Humorous addition to the animated comedy selection.
Disadvantages: Animation quality isn't too good.

...As a fan of animated comedy, when King of the Hill first hit our screens back in 1997, I was keen to see how it ranked against the other animations (though only The Simpsons really stood out back then). ...Like many others, I first became a fan of King of the Hill as a result of stumbling home from a bar or club at 1am, cooking up some munchies with my friends and sticking on Channel 4. For those who have never seen King of the Hill before I'd offer two pieces of advice. Firstly, don't make this box set your first purchase - start with Series 3, where the characters are still being introduced to a certain degree, and where maturity has improved the quality of humour. Secondly, King of the Hill isn't for everyone. If you're expecting the multi-layered family comedy of the Simpsons then think on. If you're thinking of the 'random' humour of Family Guy, then think on. Advantages: Stunning graphics, very scary, plenty of extras

NO LONGER KING OF THE HILL

Advantages: Good story, Different writing style
Disadvantages: Convoluted, At times, slow and boring

I'm the King of the Castle: a dark & disturbing story.

Advantages: Brilliantly written; true to life; enjoyable and good for discussion.
Disadvantages: May be too close to home for some; isn't always an easy read.

...fights to establish a safe place for himself in his new surroundings, made difficult for him by the disengaged adults and the bullying Edmund Hooper. Although this isn't something that makes it great, it meant that it was a memorable experience, and a book that has stuck in my mind for years. The quality of Susan Hill's writing is outstanding, and very much transports the reader into Edmund's shoes, regardless of whether they are familiar with the situation he finds himself in. Like her novel "Strange Meeting" Hill writes about her subject matter with such style and insight, that it is difficult not to engage with her work. It is for this reason that I chose to rate it as "good" for its readability, rather than basing that judgment on the subjects dealt with. ...I'm The King Of The Castle is a book by Susan Hill. It is about two young boys named Edmund Hooper and Charles Kingshaw. Kingshaw moved into a place called Warings which Edmund and his dad owns. This causes conflict between both of the boys. In the book you see Edmund Hooper mentally and physical torturing Charles Kingshaw to the extreme. This review will explore how Susan Hill conveys fear in the book "I'm The King Of The Castle" by mentioning her techniques and pointing out some examples where she uses fear. The first point in the book where Susan Hill uses fear is where the two boys meet each other for the first time. They act like they are afraid of each other because they feel like each other are invading there lives. ...The Hills is my guilty little pleasure. There's backstabbing, friendships, boyfriends, clubbing, making up, breaking up, in fact this programme has everything! The Hills is actually a spin-off television series from the very popular show, Laguna Beach. This show followed a bunch of high school students through their life in Laguna Beach, California, a very affluent, beautiful area right on the coast of Southern California. One of the main characters was Lauren Conrad, often referred to as LC. She, in my opinion is quite a pretty, nice mannered girl, if somewhat spoilt. She has the clothes, looks, long blond hair and drives a very nice convertible car. I do like her and I think she is quite entertaining. King of Queens

Advantages: Funny, good characters

...King of Queens is an American sitcom set in New York. The King in question is Doug Heffernan and the Queens they relate to is actually the suburb of New York he lives in with his wife Carrie. I think this title is a really clever play on words and sets the scene for quite a funny sitcom in my opinion. Doug and Carrie are the main couple in this sitcom and it?s really them that the whole show revolves around. They have a nice relationship but bicker like most couples and they really play on each others stereotypes to get the laughs out of the audience. For example Doug is rather fat and so they definitely play this up on the show. He is generally always eating my Carrie facilitates this by buying him or making him his favourite foods.
