Kingdom Come - the ultimate DC story

...Every year without fail, DC have an event that is titles "an event to change the course of characters lives for ever!" Whether this is the Infinite Crisis or such rebooting of time like Zero Hour something happens. This is mainly to advance sales and also to clear out any under performing characters in the DC universe that aren't needed anymore and so housekeeping is performed to remove the old and bring in new. With Kingdom Come they quite literally have thought outside the box with this idea. Let me explain?. DC ran a series of annuals and graphic novels called Elseworlds which Kingdom Come is part of. This was where the characters of the DC Universe were taken out of there normal surroundings and placed into new and untried situations. The Jiggaman Returns With Kingdom Come!

Advantages: Good album to listen to, a lot of decent producers and catchy tunes!
Disadvantages: Not up to his usual standard, bit more popy!

...Well its official Jay-Z is 'out of retirement' with his new album Kingdom Come. I think with this album however, he is a just after the money! I can tell by listening to this album that he has decided to go with catchier tunes in order to sell more and try and make some money! However, this isn't too say its a bad album! The album is actually very good and I think its the the likes of Dr.Dre, Chris Martin, John Legend, Kanye West, Pharell Williams & The Neptunes and Usher that make it this way. They all produce at least one song on the album and all do an excellent job! The album kicks off with a Prelude that sets the tone for it, a nice easy to listen to background track with Jay-Z easing through the lyrics at a nice pace making easy listening. Advantages: It's big, has music to suit many tastes and isn't too expensive
Disadvantages: I have heard of cases of drinks being spiked by other clubbers, though the police have caught them

The WWF comes to the UK

Advantages: The Beserkers greatest bout exists on this tape
Disadvantages: Most of the matches are very poor.

...In 1991 the WWF (now the WWE) visited the UK to put on a mega-show that was to be shown on Sky 1. The venue was the London Docklands arena and they brought the whole roster to the show (including the world famous Hulk Hogan!), which lead to huge ticket sales. The event on video lasts 180 minutes, and is shown in it?s entirety which is very pleasing. It is certificate E, which means it has been unrated due to it being a sports event. It was released by Silvervision in late 1991 on video and in the future Silvervision hope to release this event on DVD (they have entered it for reclassification to the BBFC). The commentators for this event are Vince McMahon and Rowdy Roddy Piper, this is a great team as they complement each other?s style really well.
