...The Langley, is ideally situated in the heart of Kent, just on the edge of the market town of Tonbridge. I'd give this hotel a 5/ 10 I've being in a lot worse trust me, but it defaintly by no means was the best. The main disadvantage of this hotel was the mantiance of the hotel it was very poor there was leaks from the roof above our bed with water staining and dripping on the ceiling and walls. Also the carpet needed replacing as it had lots of stains and looked like it had'nt being hoovered what so ever. It was so warm in the hotel, I dont know why this was maybe to combat the dampness -this resulted in extreme condensation on the windows. We had to ask for towels as only one set was provided in a double room! The location sounded quite near to tonbridge but in fact is a bit out, this could cause problems for people who...

King of Queens

Advantages: Funny, good characters

...King of Queens is an American sitcom set in New York. The King in question is Doug Heffernan and the Queens they relate to is actually the suburb of New York he lives in with his wife Carrie. I think this title is a really clever play on words and sets the scene for quite a funny sitcom in my opinion. Doug and Carrie are the main couple in this sitcom and it?s really them that the whole show revolves around. They have a nice relationship but bicker like most couples and they really play on each others stereotypes to get the laughs out of the audience. For example Doug is rather fat and so they definitely play this up on the show. He is generally always eating my Carrie facilitates this by buying him or making him his favourite foods. The King Of Buffets

Advantages: Nice atmosphere, tasty food
Disadvantages: Not that many vegetarian choices

...I had heard many people rave about Buffet King but had never managed to visit it myself. When I had a friend staying I decided that a buffet would be a great place for a meal as you can guarantee that there will be something that we both liked there and it would be informal and reasonably priced. Situated in Carnegie Drive, the restaurant is just a minutes walk from the bus station and there is also ample parking in the council owned car parks across the road. It?s easy to see the appeal of a buffet, you get to fill your plate with as many tasty morsels as your stomach can hold but I have found that the quality varies greatly, lets see how Buffet King measures up. ...I admit that for some reason, I seem to be addicted to everything that I shouldn't be. I have tried & failed to have an addiction to fruit and vegetables, so I have settled for my addiction to chocolate and junk food, and convince myself that when I go to somewhere like Burger King, because of the lettuce etc on burgers, it is actually healthy! Burger King is possibly the only chain restaurant where I have found the taste of products to be consistent. Every Burger King I've been in, apart from one in Scotland, has tasted the same, which I like, as I know then what I'm getting when I order it! ...Having seen this film being advertised to come on television recently, I could not pass on the opportunity to watch it. I had missed the chance to see it at the cinema, but as some of you will know, our screen is just about big enough to make the film experience special. Advantages: Stunning, ingenious costumes and visuals, classic musical numbers well-performed.

The Last King of Scotland

Advantages: Great acting, story to be told
Disadvantages: Gruesome

...The Last King of Scotland is a story, inspired by real people and events about the life of the Ugandan dictator Idi Amin. The film came out in 2006 and was one that I really enjoyed. In my opinion it's well portrayed, beautifully acted, tense and gripping and one you really have to watch. Idi Amin is played by Forest Whitaker and he gives a truly haunting portrail. He's really quite scary in this film at the same time as being really captivating and interesting and it's no coincidence that people fall for his charms. I think he actually bears a little resembalance to the dictator himself and so this definitely made the look and character more believeable. In fact, it's not jsut me who thinks Forest did a great job. He won the Best Actor award at the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild and the BAFTAs for his role...
