...Lyons Battenberg Cake This has been on special offer recently in Tesco's and since the offer has been on I have been able to eat single handed 4 whole cakes. The offer being buy one get one free and for a price of £1.29 pence, which gets you the two cakes, I think it is well worth it. The Lyons Battenberg cake has been around for years and has been one of my favourite cake time treats for many a year. The fact that this cake is so sweet really satisfies me as I have a very bad case of sweet toothitis. The Battenberg Cake is made up of a super soft sponge centre that is in two different colours and four separate squares of colour giving the cake a chequered look. Lyon- France's alternative city break.

Advantages: Wonderful city
Disadvantages: Pollution

...of Paris, nevertheless it is a lovely place to visit. The city does suffer a lot from pollution and it can often be quite murky when you look up at the sky. Even given that, there are some stunning buildings situated in and around the Lyon area. There is the massive Tour Suisse, which gives us a modern element to the city. However, there is also a Cathedral and Basilica. However, the focal point of Lyon lies at Place Bellecour. The streets that move away from this big square are lined with shops that you could easily spend a day looking around. At the heart of Bellecour stands a statue to one of the former French Kings. Having a lie-in in the Lyon...

Advantages: A clean hotel in the heart of Barcelona.

King of Queens

...King of Queens is an American sitcom set in New York. The King in question is Doug Heffernan and the Queens they relate to is actually the suburb of New York he lives in with his wife Carrie. I think this title is a really clever play on words and sets the scene for quite a funny sitcom in my opinion. Doug and Carrie are the main couple in this sitcom and it?s really them that the whole show revolves around. They have a nice relationship but bicker like most couples and they really play on each others stereotypes to get the laughs out of the audience. The King Of Buffets

When I had a friend staying I decided that a buffet would be a great place for a meal as you can guarantee that there will be something that we both liked there and it would be informal and reasonably priced. Situated in Carnegie Drive, the restaurant is just a minutes walk from the bus station and there is also ample parking in the council owned car parks across the road. ...I admit that for some reason, I seem to be addicted to everything that I shouldn't be. I have tried & failed to have an addiction to fruit and vegetables, so I have settled for my addiction to chocolate and junk food, and convince myself that when I go to somewhere like Burger King, because of the lettuce etc on burgers, it is actually healthy! Burger King is possibly the only chain restaurant where I have found the taste of products to be consistent. Every Burger King I've been in, apart from one in Scotland, has tasted the same, which I like, as I know then what I'm getting when I order it! The Last King of Scotland

Advantages: Great acting, story to be told
Disadvantages: Gruesome

...The Last King of Scotland is a story, inspired by real people and events about the life of the Ugandan dictator Idi Amin. The film came out in 2006 and was one that I really enjoyed. In my opinion it's well portrayed, beautifully acted, tense and gripping and one you really have to watch. Idi Amin is played by Forest Whitaker and he gives a truly haunting portrail. He's really quite scary in this film at the same time as being really captivating and interesting and it's no coincidence that people fall for his charms. I think he actually bears a little resembalance to the dictator himself and so this definitely made the look and character more believeable. In fact, it's not jsut me who thinks Forest did a great job. He won the Best Actor award at the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild and the BAFTAs for his role...
