Kingston DDR2 RAM
Review of Kingston ValueRAM DRAM 1 GB PC2-4200 by
naza911
Advantages: Cheap, Lifetime Warrenty & Tested
Disadvantages: I have found none
...Kingston Value RAM is probally the best WhiteBox Solution. This Product will be fully tested when you get it and come with a lifetime warrenty and is probally the only one that i have ever had with this sort of Support. Prices for this module are a little bit higher than in some other places but it is well worth the extra cost. I use these modules and run them in dual channel on new machines. I have never had a customer which has returned a PC with a memory fault or any fault that had kingston memory. The chips work very well. I have run memory tests on them and they never show up with an error. On the whole this is probally the memory you want to go for if you are looking for value RAM....

Kingston memory chip
Review of Kingston ValueRAM DRAM 1 GB PC2-4200 by
lionmatty
Advantages: Ease of installment
Disadvantages: Cant think of any
...Memory module easy to install, and straight not bent as some others i have recieved were. No problems since installing and speed of my computer has improved dratically, allways buy quality as cheap parts are never the same.
Have found that the Kingston memory has all the latest quality parts needed to ensure a smooth running and speedy computer with out any loss of internal memory when replacing the older slower / less memory one.
Always comes well protected in a anti static bag and foam packing so make sure you dont touch the chips with your fingers as static electricity can jump from your body to the chips and even the best modules cant stop anti static electricty jumping and affecting thier products during installement...

Go fast for less!
Review of Kingston ValueRAM DRAM 2 GB PC2-4200 by
MadMike542
Advantages: Extremely cheap and very fast
Disadvantages: DDR2, not compatible with all motherboards.
...I recently bought 2GB of kingston valueram as an upgrade for my gaming PC since I require as much speed etc as possible to get the best out of my machine. I looked around for cheap DDR2 RAM and came across this little gem whilst surfing the net and couldn't resist purchasing it.
The upgrade from my previous 1GB of DDR2 was astonishing. My computer now processes things much quicker than before and still has a lot of spare memory left over even when large applications such as Adobe Photoshop or games are open meaning my entire computer runs faster. With being a website designer in my spare time I use dreamweaver and photoshop a lot, and with my previous setup I struggled to make good use of the programs due to slow saving times and such alike which got quite frustrating. With the introduction of 2gb of this RAM they now run like a dream...

Disadvantages: You will want to buy more due to its performance and reliability.

I don't have a program that tests Memory performance and such, but I can tell you that I used to have two 256 MB PC2100, DDR266 (133 Mhz) types and replacing them with these PC3200 DDR400 (200 Mhz) Kingston Memory modules has made a great difference in its performance and reliability. Programs load faster than the PC2100 type. I've experienced little or no program crashes, but that depends on programs running on the background, the Operating System and cleanliness of your hard-drives. The faults and errors I...

No excuse for not having enough memory!
Review of Crucial DRAM 1 GB PC3200 by
Lexica
Advantages: Top Value, good memory
Disadvantages: Can't put any more in this PC! No more room.
...the memory I was wondering if I had gone for something too cheap and I waited with baited breath for it to turn up.
Installing the memory was simple. Take the cover off the PC. Earth yourself so you don't put static on the board and slip it straight in. Now for the exciting part. Turning on the PC. My computer now has an extra 2Gb in.. Is it going to behave better?
How do I test this memory hard... Flight Sim X seems a good place to start. Very memory intensive application. Before i could barely run it at 6 frames per second (absolutely rubbish). Start it up and hey presto 18 frames per second. Nothing else was changed in my PC to make this happen.
Besides this the performance of my PC is phenomenal compared to how it was (to be expected with putting 2 x 1GB in my machine) but having done the same in another machine using Kingston memory...

Nifty little blue RAM
Review of Kingston HyperX DRAM 2 GB PC3200 by
Rubeenio
Advantages: Very high quality RAM, looks good
Disadvantages: pricey but worth it
...With all of my computers that i have use different brands of RAM to try them out and see who's is the best, who's is the easiest to install and who gives the best value for money. I have narrowed my choices down to 2 companies and Kingston is my "favorite of favorites" So for one of my PC's I chose the Kingston Hyper X RAM and i loved the results. I got my Kingston Hyper X RAM from ebay and a very competative price.
Design:
Most RAM looks the same, its a plain little green board with black things on, well this isnt the case for Hyper X RAM, is a brilliant blue colour (my favorite colour is blue) and this is because of its heatsinking blue metal outer cover. It looks great and it performes a valuble task too, namley to cool your RAM. Most people only have heatsinks on their CPU and graphics card (if they are luckey on their Hard Disk...

neonspirit
Advantages: good value for money
Disadvantages: cheap packaging
...well when i bought my new rig 5 months ago i spent a small fortune on the graphics card so started looking for some good priced and branded ram with good timings
i stumbled upon the geil ram and it looked perfect
i purchased the GeIL Value Dual Channel 2 GB DDR SDRAM kit and i now run itin my new box on an asus a8r-mvp motherboard with a 3.5 64 bit chip in it.
my rig is mainly used for gaming hence the need for a good graphics card and good ram
this ram has performed very well in both dual and single channel mode
currently i am running it in dual channel mode and combined with the rest of the pc i can run battlefiled 2 at max settings with no lag and still achieve 90 fps
overall for the money you cannot go wrong with this ram
the heatsinks on it look good and do work well....

Good Memory By Kingston
Review of Kingston DRAM 2 GB PC2-3200 by
Surj1
Advantages: 2GB, 400MHz RAM, 1 Slot Required, Very Good Performance
Disadvantages: None
...The Kingston DRAM 2 GB PC2-3200 memory works well in my PC. Kingston is one of the market leaders in quality memory along with crucial memory.
Memory is one of the easiest upgrades anyone can do and will greatly affect the performance of your PC. I have had one of these in my PC since day one and it's been working fine. I am also considering upgrading and getting another one, not sure yet though. In my previous PC I used to have crucial memory and that was quite good too, I don't think there's much difference between them maybe crucial has slightly better performance but it's hard to pin point.
The Kingston memory allows me to run applications simultaneously without any glitches or crashes. I use Adobe Photoshop and Audition quite a lot and it seems to be able to handle them very well. As a test I've run both programs together...

RAM This Into Your PC!
Review of Kingston ValueRAM DRAM 2 GB PC2-4200 by
hackersupr
Advantages: Excellent value, 2GB, matched memory
Disadvantages: Not for overclockers.
...The Kingston 2GB DDR2 RAM is a great way to purchase all the RAM you will currently need for games and Microsoft's latest operating system Windows Vista.
Installing extra memory into your PC is the best way of increasing performance for very little money, if you are currently running 1GB and are on Windows XP you may want to stick unless you play demanding games. If you have Windows Vista you and only have 1GB or less of memory you will definitely want to upgrade as Vista is a demanding operating system and easily consumes 1GB of RAM with just a few basic programs running. If you have an AMD Athlon X2 or Intel Core2 Duo processor you will want to take advantage of your powerful hardware by matching it up with atleast 2GB of RAM.
In the box you will get two 1GB sticks of matched DDR2 memory, matched means that they are capable...
