Many years ago I was the chief cashier in a branch of a high street bank. It was a small branch with a low foot flow of customers. However, it was in the very wealthy Belgravia area of London so what customers we did have were of the well heeled variety, premiership footballers and senior politicians were regulars. ...Sliding Doors is a film which brings to the screens the question ?what if?? it was released in 1998 and is still managing to bring in plenty of viewers due to its unique story and layout which has been copied, but not as successfully, since. What?s it all about? The movie is a romance story about Helen, the film follows her in her struggles through her life, work and especially her love life. ...Sliding doors is one of my all time favorite films! made by director Peter Howitt he has really made a different kind of film that makes you use your brain. It follows the life of helen (actress Gwyneth Paltrow) Who works in PR and lives with her writer boyfriend, unbeknown to helen her boyfriend gerry (actor John Lynch) Is cheating on her with an ex girlfriend, Helen goes to work as normal but gets sacked due to sexist male employees! Marco's Kitchen

Advantages: Marco, celebs getting flustered

...I was once told that I was just like Marco Pierre White. Taking this as a compliment I mearly assummed that they were referring to how incredibly talented I am when working with food. Sadly this was not what they were getting at. I have recently discovered that it was more down to the fact that a lot of the time I say things which make no sense whatsoever! This is one way is what can make Marco's Hell's Kitchen so funny. I never watched it when Gordan Ramsey was doing it. But since Marco has taken over I've become completely addicted to it. Down to the fact that they've cut down the programme from what was 90 minutes to the hour, the amount of cooking where we actually got to see how they were doing it has been decreased. Appareantly due to the fact that ITV are 'skint' they couldn't afford to get any celebrities of a high standard...

...Evanescence:The Open Door Evanescence a well know heavy metal'gothic' band (Although I wouldn't put the gothic in there') First released their debut album 'Fallen' in 2003 and followed that up with their live DVD 'Anywhere But Home' in 2004. In 2006 with Wind-UP Records they released this album 'The Open Door.' In my oppinion it is a great album, although I do prefer their previous album 'Fallen'. There is clear plastic window glass for the frames. The windows and doors are a variety of different shapes and sizes. Now my grandchildren can be really creative and build a house or doctor?s surgery with as many windows and doors in it as they like. They will not be restricted by the number of windows, doors that come in other brick sets. This set of windows and doors is suitable for a child aged 4 and over. I think a 5-6=7 years old will get the best from it...

...As a big fan of Evanescence's first major album "Fallen", back in 2003, I had high expectations for "The Open Door". When I found out in the summer that they had a new album coming out, I could barely wait until October, and scoured the internet searching for pre-release reviews of the long-awaited record. And when I finally got it, I was not disappointed. I enjoyed it on the first listen through, but on the second and then the third (and so on), I loved it! A lot of the songs are very good, and in my view, there's only one track that lets the album down, which is "Your Star". Having read the other reviews on here for this CD, I was quite surprised at the response from the reviewers and the comments received, and I seem to be alone in my view that this was a great album! Nevertheless, I shall continue with this review in an effort...

By this time we had lost the will to live! We were shown a scanty brochure which was not impressive. The photos were of very poor quality and it was difficult to judge. However, not one kitchen jumped out and grabbed us! David seemed concerned by this and asked us to pick a selection so that he could bring in some doors to show us. The doors duly appeared in our sitting room. They were only 300mm doors so it was difficult to tell what a whole kitchen would look like. David had done a rough pencil sketch of his idea, but it was difficult to grasp it really. I had hoped that he would do a comouter generated simulation as we had been given previously.
