Advantages: Marco, celebs getting flustered
Disadvantages: not long enough

...I was once told that I was just like Marco Pierre White. Taking this as a compliment I mearly assummed that they were referring to how incredibly talented I am when working with food. Sadly this was not what they were getting at. I have recently discovered that it was more down to the fact that a lot of the time I say things which make no sense whatsoever! This is one way is what can make Marco's Hell's Kitchen so funny. I never watched it when Gordan Ramsey was doing it. But since Marco has taken over I've become completely addicted to it. Down to the fact that they've cut down the programme from what was 90 minutes to the hour, the amount of cooking where we actually got to see how they were doing it has been decreased. Appareantly due to the fact that ITV are 'skint' they couldn't afford to get any celebrities of a high standard...

plans are rarely simple

Advantages: cinematography, billy bob thornton
Disadvantages: slow, some unbelievable moments

Plan on Sleeping Through It

Advantages: Some nice warmth from Dwayne Johnson.
Disadvantages: Pedestrian direction, under-developed characters and predictable narrative.

Dream Kitchen @ Trade Prices - NOT!

...didn't think the appointment with the salesman would take too long at all. How wrong could I be??? The salesman arrived slightly early, but was very pleasant. We showed him our kitchen, made some coffee and sat at the table ready to discuss our options. As I said, we knew roughly what we wanted and where we wanted the items to go in the design. The salesman disagreed with our design and wanted to do his own. I specifically said I didn't want the cooker/hob in the corner of the room as this wastes a lot of space, but he continued to draw it in the plan. He talked a lot while he was drawing up his plan, which lead to mistakes being made and things being put in the wrong place. Time was passing and my 3 children were moaning about tea, yet he continued to talk and talk and talk. To be honest, I just wanted him to give us a price...

When all else fails - there's always Plan B!

...I have read most of Emily Barr's novels and each one is fresh and enjoyable and you think they can't get any better. However, having just read Plan B, they do get better and I was totally absorbed in this story from the moment I picked the book up! Emily Barr is such a good storyteller and she hooks you from the very start so that you don't want to stop reading. I found myself snatching odd moments in the day to pick this book up, and now that I've finished it I'm almost disappointed as I didn't want to stop reading. The main character in the book is Emma and over half of the story is told from her point of view and is written in the first person. ...Although we have somewhat moved onto pastures new (Noddy and Peppa Pig) when it comes to Harry's television viewing, Bob the Builder still remains a good faithful to plonk on for him when I desperately need to get on with the dinner and Harry's trying to "help" me. We have a small collection of Bob DVD'S courtesy of Harry's Nanny, and this is one he does like to watch pretty regularly, and I must say it is a fun watch, even for me who has seen it god knows how many times! Bob the Builder is a hit children's television show currently being shown on Nick Jnr and Nick Jnr 2 throughout the day. ...Space Kitchens - Glasgow Where to start with this shamble of a company? I have been working with the company for nearly 6 months now. I applied for the job as it stated "Driver" on the jobcentreplus form, only to be told after the interview, you are actually going to be a salesman, guised as a "designer". What a joke!!!! The usual starts, they offer you the world, you can make £1000 a day from the commission you earn, joke!!!! Likeliness is, you will make the £50 pitch fee only. They are all friendly for the first few weeks also until they turn on you. Your training consists of sitting in a room with a fat mancunian while he talks about how he makes £100k a year, please? The "lead" comes from the fat skanks sat in the call centre who basically hound the customer into saying YES to a "Free Plan & Design" which afterwards, a price...

IKEA Kalsebo kitchen

...Having purchased and fitted an IKEA kitchen in 1993, and being very happy with it for the next 7 years (until we moved house!), I didn't really bother looking anywhere else for my most recent kitchen. I was delighted to find that, although the narrowest (30cm wide) units have now been discontinued, the range has otherwise been improved and offers excellent value and quality. IKEA offers a very good range of basic units, all of which are customisable by adding your choice of doors, drawer fronts and interior fittings. All the ranges are, in my opinion, very reasonably priced. You'll have to get a catalogue or visit the website or store to see just what's available! We planned our kitchen with 3 things in mind: cost - having just paid for an extension, our budget was limited; durability - our kitchen gets good use; staying power...
