...If I was totally honest it would be fair to say that I needed a new Kenwood like a hole in the head - after all how many virtually retired batchelors really need a food processor?
But over the decades I collected unpteen very usefull accessories and no less than four Kenwood mixers of mixed vintage, all of which were excellent for one task or another. However none were compatable with all the tools I owned, and visa versa!
In a fit of enthusiasm last Christmas I hunted the Internet and decided to treat myself to a new Kenwood. Days of deliberation [and umpteen special deal offers later] I plumped for a Kenwood KM 010 Titanium.

...I recently upgraded to my new LG KM900 Arena from my current LG KF600 Venus after a bit of an argument with my (now) former provider.
I got a great deal from Orange so I'm now the proud owner of the Arena.
It's a candybar phone with a completely touch screen interface. I was a bit wary about not having a keypad but this phone is very responsive and I haven't had any trouble so far. My phone has a screen protector on it so it doesn't get scratched and this hasn't affected the way the phone responds to touch.
It has the unique 'S-class' interface which has four different screens - the widget screen which is completely customizable, the contacts screen which displays your favourite contacts, the shortcut screen which is again customizable to your own choice and the multimedia screen which displays your favourite tracks...

Review of LG KM900 Arena
Advantages: Reliable, versatile, good-looking Disadvantages: Price, possibly more than you need
...and justifies the outlay. There are other models in the range. If you need to bake in industrial quantities there is the Major which is bigger all round, more expensive, of course, and the accessories are also proportionately bigger and pricier. There are models with smaller motors, fewer available accessories and in white or silver. Have a look at the KM310, 400 or 410.
I do have one small grouse. The power lead winds back into the base of the machine, which is handy, or it would be if it wasn't such a struggle to drag it out and force it back in again. Now if they were to motorise that .. !...

Review of Kenwood KM001
Advantages: Cheap family car, comfortable, chews up motorway miles Disadvantages: Talks and walks like a tractor, must be over 50 to own one.
...I'm a little disappointed, to be honest. Nothing to do with the car, but Ciao just lacks range. I've just spent 12 hours and 1,000km driving across Europe in a 2003 2.0L TDCi Mondeo station wagon, and the whole time I was thinking, "I'd love to review this on Ciao". But there is no 2.0L TCDi wagon. This is the closest I can get, but I honestly believe that what I learnt applies to all those considering a Ford diesel.
First, the good points: Ford make cheap, comfortable cars, with plenty of service support, finance deals and the like. The Mondeo is roomy, will easily support a family of four and a dog without undue stress, and on long journey's, is economical on fuel and doesn't make your ears bleed. It is the most normal of all normal cars. It makes the Vectra look positively aspirational, Volvo look classy, Audi look sporting...

Advantages: The only kitchen machine you should ever need. Disadvantages: Expensive
...This is my first review for some time, but then its a long time since I have purchased an item that I have become so enthused about.
The reason in the first place for this buy was the death of my old Moulinex masterchef and my really old Phillips hand beater, they both packed up within a week of each other Gremlins methinks!!. So without further ado I started some research into what would be the best buy bearing in mind I have limited kitchen space so individual processors and mixers were out, after much wandering on websites I had a peek at Lakeland online and spotted the Kenwood Chef KM001 and it looked impressive so without further ado I grabbed hubby and took him into town so that we could have a look, he didn't know it yet but this was to be his gift to me!!, he also was impressed with the construction of the machine so with that...
