Koala cuteness!

...From an early age I have been an avid reader. I used to love a lot of 'collections' as a child, such as The Jolly Postman, Mr Men books, and of course the Animal Ark series. These amazing books written by Lucy Daniels is a collection about an animal lover named Mandy Hope. One of the titles is Koalas in a Crisis. The cover of the book is very important, I feel, as it is when we make our first impressions. I personally think that this particular book is one that melts you straight away. We can see a picture of a mother koala climbing a tree, with her little baby koala on her back. Its very sweet and certainly made me 'aww' straight away. I couldnt wait to read. The book is about Mandy and how she visits an animal sanctuary. She loves the koalas and spends a lot of time around them. But she is shocked to learn that they are in danger...

Have Koala - can travel

Advantages: Its "free". An operating system you can travel around with.
Disadvantages: Not all applications and hardware you are used to with Windows may work

...this review to be too technical so I will approach this review from the following angle. I wanted to see if I could do most of the things I currently do on my Windows laptop in Ubuntu and how easy it was to do this while at the same time comparing the performance/speed to Windows. And then rather than emphasize what it maybe doesn't offer compared to Windows I will try and show some of the things its better at. You might also expect some hard figures on how much faster or slower Ubuntu is compared to Windows - again I won?t do that. Not the sort of Koalas you want to meet!

Disadvantages: Disgusting Bed Bugs Dirty Rude Unhelpful staff

...Over my 6 month trip I stayed in many hostels both big and small, some part of a chain and other independent so I feel I have had a far bit of experience now, and I have to say the worst hostels I stayed in where The Koala Beach Resorts on the East Coast of Australia. My Experience: I stayed in 3 of the Koala Beach Resorts while I was in Australia and I have to say they were all pretty much as bad as each other. The most disgusting kitchens I have ever seen, you have to pay deposits for everything which is a real pain and they are renowned for bed bugs. Location: There are several Koalas Beach Resorts up the East Coast, Noosa, Hervey Bay, Airlie Beach Cairns and Daintree. A lot of the accommodation they have is sold as a package including organised tours, this looks like a great deal as it works out so cheap, but...

Lone Pine Koala Sancutary

Advantages: Hands on experience with the animals

...I went to Lone Pine Koala Sancutary March this year and volunteered there for a month with the animals and LOVED it, it was a great experience!!!!!!! I LOVED working with the koalas it was a dream come true!!!!!!!!! One of my highlights was holding a koala, its a great place to get hands on experience with koalas and kangaroos!!!!!! You can feed the kangaroos in the Kangaroo Reserve. The Keepers at Lone Pine are really nice!!!!!! I'd definitely reccommend it to anyone who likes koalas. At Lone Pine they have the Southern Koala (which is different in colour to the Northern Koala). They do Koala talks (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) its a really good talk on koalas and you learn alot about them and their habitat....

...TY Beanies are adorable, there is no wonder my friends and I were crazy for these little soft toys. The TY beanies came in all sorts of varieties, whether animal or bear. They each had their own special name, and between us, my friends and I owned and could name pretty much every one going! One of the teddies is a koala bear named Eucalyptus. Now straight away you are able to tell that Eucalyptus is not like other TYs - he is quite a large one, around three times the standard size. Though he does still look adorable! He has gorgeous grey, almost silver coloured fur, with a cream coloured stomach and inner ears. His ears are quite large at the side of his head. He has a large shiny plastic nose too, which is gorgeous. To look at, Eucalyptus is definitely one of the more attractive TYs. The teddy is very soft to the touch. If you give...

Best place to see Koalas in Australia

Advantages: full of koalas!
Disadvantages: difficult location

...In my 6 months of travel in Australia, I went to lots of zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, and one of my 'things to do' on my checklist was to hold a koala. I decided to go to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary as it focused pretty much solely on koalas and their cousins, and I had heard that it was a great centre that had good hands-on experiences. It was a bit of a struggle to work out how to get there without a car, but once we worked out what buses we needed, we headed over to the sanctuary. A nice surprise was that although a popular destination, it wasnt over-crowded with tourbuses like a lot of attractions in Australia, and there were interesting information talks available all day, about the different animals they house. The earth is not only for humans

...Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is an animal park set in the natural wildlife of Brisbane, Australia. This was one of the main reasons that we stopped off in Brisbane as it is the world's first and largest koala sanctuary, and home to over 130 of the cute little animals. The koalas can be found in their own homes all over the sanctuary where they are separated by age and gender including the teenage boys, kindergarten and the retirement home. Due to the fact that they sleep 19 hours a day, the koalas will more than likely be asleep in the fork of a tree when you pay them a visit but, as this is their natural habit, this is the only place you would want to see them. Some of my best friends hate this album

This could be DJed right out of the 1940's. STOMPIN' AT LE SAVOI (2:04) Sexy drumming on this one. For fans of Jazz or Blues but want to stay within the DJing fold Kid Koala should appeal. The main instrument of choice for this scratch up is the mouth organ. The heavy snare and bass is slow but can't help you tap those feet and the mouth organ wants me to be at a block party eating shrimp in New Orleans. This tune is what sexy blues is about.
