...It would appear, the humble digital camera is somewhat of the ?pinnacle? in reviewing on these review sites?partly because it must be one of the main products that ?external? customers use to choose a product. So, without further ado, here?s the Kodak M863. Lovely stuff. My particular version comes in a black matt finish with a strap to place around your wrist ? being a bloke it was a far more obvious choice that the potential vivid pink option! Now, im hardly a connoisseur when it comes to digital cameras; the only other one I?ve previously owned was a ?Premier? one. (yep, never heard of them either!) But the first thing that strikes me about this camera is the large detailed 2.7 inch LCD screen on the back of the camera. Advantages: Great pictures, picture editing, internal memory, video capture.
Disadvantages: none

..., changing it to black and white etc. It also has kodak perfect touch technology, which clears up dark shadows, making your pictures look brighter. You can also share the pictures with your PC for extra editing. It also has some extra features, such as the ability to shoot video. It also has Internal memory plus, meaning that if you run out of memory card space, the camera has 16 MB of internal memory that you can store pictures on. This saved my ass when I was playing cameraman last week. All in all a great camera and well worth the money....

Clever Kodak

Advantages: Easy To Use Menu System, Excellent Photo Quality, Easy To Upload Pictures
Disadvantages: Low Battery Life, A Bit Bulky

Can you trust Kodak cameras?

Advantages: small size and weight

...something or other but the best price was £119, and had a lower MP than several other similarly priced cameras. So by a process of elimination - I've heard of the brand, it has a few MP's, didnt come in pink as standard, and it was the cheapest of the lot I ended up with the Kodak M1073 IS. The camera is avaliable in black or silver, and has a plastic body. Mine is the black version pictured, it looks quite sleek and classy in the pictures, unfortunately in person it simply looks like a cheap black body with cheap silvery bits. Also worth noting is that the camera unlike many DOES NOT come with an SD card as part of the pack, you have to purchase one separately, of course this unlikely to be a problem for most people replacing an older model. So what is in the box... Other than the camera itself, there is the battery, a wrist lanyard, USB cable...

...I bought this camera as a cheap digicam to take on my sking trip. I got it because of its 7MP capabilities and the 'picbridge' feature. The high quality pictures that come out of this camera are amazing. After i cam back i put them onto my computer and some into photshop. Because of the high quality it was very easy to edit and tweak. Pic bridge means i can just put it onto a picbridge printer and print without using a computer. The makes it a lot easyer for me to print without faffing about with cables and memory cards. This camera has an optical zoom facility meaning that after you have zoomed in with the extention. Advantages: Easy to use Menu, Great Quality Photos, 5 x Digital Zoom, Fab Kodak Software
Disadvantages: Batteries don't last very long!

...digital zoom, I find these really handy and after I have taken a photo I alway magnify it and if it's not what I want I delete and take another one. I know a lot of digital cameras have this but the picture is much clearer on my 1.5 inch LCD Screen than it has been on previous cameras. The photos come in Black & White, Sepia and Color and the camera has a built in flash. The memory it comes installed with is16 MB so you need to really get an SD (Secure Digital) card which will give you more memory and you can then use this card at a Kodak machine to get your prints. I use a 1 GB card and I have never needed to buy another one as you can store them on your PC and get them printed so even if you ever fill your card you can always store them safely and take them off your camera. The warranty is 1 year but I have had mine for over a year...
