I Won't Be Walking Away From Boots Photo Processing

Advantages: Great quality, wonderful staff, low price
Disadvantages: Long queuing time during busy times

...I have been using Boots - Photo Processing for many years. Today, I went in, in my wheelchair to get some digital photos developed. I noticed that it was difficult to move around to get to the machines. The space was particularly tight, but the staff were very helpful and accommodating. I have tried other Photo Processing places, but I have to say that Boots is my favourite for reliability and time. If you want good photos then you should stick with Boots. When a person thinks about Boots they usually think of chemist, beauty, perfume, soap and then as a last resort, photos. Perhaps you have tried many photo shops already without much success? Some places can be a bit hit and miss. You might be pleased with the way your photos came out one week and the next they were disastrous. However, one word that I think of when I think of Boots...

Kodak EASYSHARE SV-710 Digital Picture Frame

Advantages: Good on electricity and makes most pictures look good.
Disadvantages: Can be a bit blurred

...It took me a while to decide to buy a digital photo frame as I don?t think I take good enough photographs but now that they are in the frame it seems to be more important that they are personal pictures rather than professional ones. I have photo shopped a few to improve them as I had read that this wouod show them to their full potential and I would recommend doing that if you can. I only chose a 7? frame as I thought this would not show up the defects as much and because Kodak is a company I trust I selected one of theirs. Fortunately for me it is easy to use and looks good on the mantelpiece although I can understand why the frame my be a bit over powering in some cases. The picture is really clear and a number of people have commented about the quality of the photographs so I now claim the credit for being a good...

Digital Photo Printing at Boots

Advantages: Quick and Easy Self Service - Quality - Professional
Disadvantages: Not the cheapest

...I have a digital camera, and keep my photos on my computer's hard-drive, but occasionally I like to get better and more interesting pictures printed, it just seems so much more natural to hold a real photo than look at it on the screen, plus it's better for showing them to people when a computer or TV isn't available, or giving photos to people who don't have a computer or DVD player. I recently therefore took a batch of my digital photos to Boots to get them printed. Boots now have self service machines for digital photos, which allow either instant, 1 hour or 24 hour printing from various sources.
