...It would appear, the humble digital camera is somewhat of the ?pinnacle? in reviewing on these review sites?partly because it must be one of the main products that ?external? customers use to choose a product. So, without further ado, here?s the Kodak M863. Lovely stuff. My particular version comes in a black matt finish with a strap to place around your wrist ? being a bloke it was a far more obvious choice that the potential vivid pink option! Now, im hardly a connoisseur when it comes to digital cameras; the only other one I?ve previously owned was a ?Premier? one. (yep, never heard of them either!) But the first thing that strikes me about this camera is the large detailed 2.7 inch LCD screen on the back of the camera. Can you trust Kodak cameras?

Advantages: small size and weight
Disadvantages: image quality, quality of materials used

...something or other but the best price was £119, and had a lower MP than several other similarly priced cameras. So by a process of elimination - I've heard of the brand, it has a few MP's, didnt come in pink as standard, and it was the cheapest of the lot I ended up with the Kodak M1073 IS. The camera is avaliable in black or silver, and has a plastic body. Mine is the black version pictured, it looks quite sleek and classy in the pictures, unfortunately in person it simply looks like a cheap black body with cheap silvery bits. Also worth noting is that the camera unlike many DOES NOT come with an SD card as part of the pack, you have to purchase one separately, of course this unlikely to be a problem for most people replacing an older model. So what is in the box... Other than the camera itself, there is the battery, a wrist lanyard, USB cable...

Fantastic Camera... Very easy to use Kodak Easyshare M1033!

Advantages: 10 mp. zoom,video, face detection, VERY EASY TO USE.
Disadvantages: I honestly cant think of any!

...This camera is stylish, lightweight and economical. I paid £80.00 for this camera at Currys and I believe it has been worth every penny so far. The fact it has 8.2 megapixels means that you can zoom in on images and edit them very effectively. The front of the camera, in myopinion, looks like it's rival: the sony cybershot. The cybershot doesn't have as many Megapixels, and therefore doesn't produce as good quality images as this does. I would add also that the screen is fantastic for viewing images instantly after they have been taken, and the camera is also easy to charge; a mains charger is provided in the box. Kodak Easyshare M1073 IS

Advantages: Light, Compact, Easy to Use
Disadvantages: Picture Quality is not great

...I bought the M1073 IS about 6 months ago. It has 10.2 megal pixels and is very light and compact. It has a big range of picture options including setting for taking pictures of Children, Snow, Beach, Sport and Panoramic. The picture quality is good when the pictures are taken during the day but I found when trying to take pictures of my son indoors that I had to be very near him as, although the flash seems quite bright, the pictures come out very dark which is a real shame as it lets the camera down. The quality of the pictures on the screen do not look very good but once they are transferred onto a computer or printed they are actually good quality. I previously had a Sony Cybershot camera with only 5 mega pixels and to be honest the picture was about the same if not better than the pictures I get from this camera. I would recommend...

...I got this camera as a replacement for my old one as a graduation gift. It wasn't the most expensive, nor was it the cheapest, at the time i think it was about £80. It has quite a lot of features to offer, 8.2 mega pixels, face detection, different scenes choices such as self portrait, flowers, museum, fireworks etc, lengthy video capture with sound, a retouch application, various flashes, timer, automatic pictures, iso and the chance to save your favourites. Another handy feature is the ability to protect pictures and videos if you want to create some space and delete stuff without deleting images you may want to keep to print out etc. The zoom is a 3x optical although it seems to go into more detail then that. I have to say the zoom on this one far outweighs my old model (but it was three years old lol). However now onto its downsides...

Appeals to me because with twins you ALWAYS have to buy things in twos and as mentioned before I am Scottish and saving money is always on the agenda. There they were two Kodak fun cameras with built in flash just waiting for me. It also had the advantage that if any of the disasters mentioned previously happen it was not the end of the world. Well I bought them and gave them to two delighted children, spent a whole couple of minutes showig them how to wind the film on - see how much film was left and how to work the rudimentary flash and job done off they went. ...Looking for a camera that was easy to use I came across this camera from Kodak the DX 3500 now with a Camera Dock. The 2.2 MegaPixel image chip gives 12 pictures of 1800x1200 or 48 in 900x600 using the onboard memory of 8 Megs. The 1.8 in (45.7mm) LCD screen gives a clear if small picture. The camera has a USB port, Video out NTSC/PAL, Memory card slots and a slot in its base for the Camera Dock. All the ports/slots are protected by there very neat covers. The USB and Video cables are supplied. Buttons on the back of the camera are used to select - Flash on/off/fill/red-eye.
