SUPERB DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY WITH THE KODAK LS443

Advantages: High resolution, 3x optical zoom, massive range of features
Disadvantages: Unfortunately we live in rip-off Britain

...I have always been semi-interested in photography, but I have never got round to purchasing a decent camera. This may have been because I spent so long on deciding whether to go digital or to stick with traditional picture taking. For me digital wins hands down ? but that?s another op for another day! I was attracted to the LS443 for several reasons, which I shall talk about later. I trust Kodak as a manufacturer ? they seem to have been going for quite some time, and a friend of mine has a Kodak digital camera that he has had no problems with, and he can?t tell me enough about how great he thinks it is! Disadvantages: You will need to get regargable batteries for this camera.

...This camera is stylish, lightweight and economical. I paid £80.00 for this camera at Currys and I believe it has been worth every penny so far. The fact it has 8.2 megapixels means that you can zoom in on images and edit them very effectively. The front of the camera, in myopinion, looks like it's rival: the sony cybershot. The cybershot doesn't have as many Megapixels, and therefore doesn't produce as good quality images as this does. I would add also that the screen is fantastic for viewing images instantly after they have been taken, and the camera is also easy to charge; a mains charger is provided in the box. Kodak DC240 say YES to Digital Photography

Advantages: Simple to use good value no films

...When I first bough my PC I ws very excited about buying a digital camera. I liked the advantages of not having to buy any more films or having to load them and the costs of getting them developed. My DC240 cost £350 from an independat retailer I thought I was getting it cheaper untill I looked in comet and found they were going for about £100 less. I use my camera mainly for photographing products that I sell on online auction sites so it does save me a lot of money and gives me free photos to go on my auctions. The dc240 allows me to take sharp detailed photos in colour and allows me to transfer them to my PC for either editing or placing them into a document or an e-mail. You can either print them out using your printer or just keep them on your computer in a special album. I often do this as it saves ink on my printer...

Features which attracted me to the frame: You can use a USB memory stick with it It is 800 x 480 pixel resolutions, twice the resolution of some other frames. It has interchangeable face plates to change the look of the frame. Features which put me off but weren't deal breakers: No random function on slide show Bloated Kodak software (according to other reviewers on Amazon) Pictures cropped to fit aspect ratio of frame The Reality. Bought the frame and being rather anal about these things allowed the whole package to reach the ambient temperature in the house before unpacking. Canon Digital IXUS 80 IS -nice little camera

...I am not an expert on digital cameras and this is just the second one I bought. So I cannot really compare the Ixus 80 with other cameras. Nevertheless, I really like it. Looks The Lxus 80 comes in Classic Silver, Caramel, Chocolate and Candy Pink in an aluminium body. It is small enough to fit in a pocket and can be tacken anywhere with no problems. As far as I can say it is very reliable and does brilliant pictures for a normal user. Features It works with 8 megapixels .The 3x zoom works for all the general snapshot moments. It comes with an Image Stabilization (IS moniker) to reduce camera shake. As far as I know this is not standard on all cameras yet, but becomes more normal in newer models. The lens is glass, so it?s definitely an advantage towards cameras with a plastic lens. You can certainly see that in the quality...
