...the picture on a TV Picture quality is great with good colour balance. The 3x Digital zoom works but with reduced picture quality, better to go for an optional 4x zoom lens. There are wide angle lenses available, they fit on the camera lens via a converter. The standard lens has a 38mm / F4.5 focal length. When you have taken your pictures slot the camera onto the Camera Dock press a button and the pictures, via the USB, will transfer to your computer. The DX 3500 comes with software/drivers on CD. The fact it has 8.2 megapixels means that you can zoom in on images and edit them very effectively. The front of the camera, in myopinion, looks like it's rival: the sony cybershot. The cybershot doesn't have as many Megapixels, and therefore doesn't produce as good quality images as this does. ...I have owned my digital camera now for about nine months. I have found that the DC240 is extremely easy to use, a lot easier than most SLR cameras I have owned. It realy is a point and click camera and I have been more than pleased with the reults. My young son has used it to good effect on his trips out, he is only 12 years old so it must be fairly starightforward. The picture quality has always been good. I am no expert when it comes to photography but this little camera seems to have everything I need. It has taken a few knocks along the way and seems to be no worse off for the experience. Canon Digital IXUS 80 IS -nice little camera

...I am not an expert on digital cameras and this is just the second one I bought. So I cannot really compare the Ixus 80 with other cameras. Nevertheless, I really like it. Looks The Lxus 80 comes in Classic Silver, Caramel, Chocolate and Candy Pink in an aluminium body. It is small enough to fit in a pocket and can be tacken anywhere with no problems. As far as I can say it is very reliable and does brilliant pictures for a normal user. Features It works with 8 megapixels .The 3x zoom works for all the general snapshot moments. It comes with an Image Stabilization (IS moniker) to reduce camera shake. As far as I know this is not standard on all cameras yet, but becomes more normal in newer models. The lens is glass, so it?s definitely an advantage towards cameras with a plastic lens. You can certainly see that in the quality...

...I bought this camera from marks and spencers for £279.99. This camera is great due to all the features that it has. It has a great 12x optical zoom, which even at 9x or 10x zoom, the pictures look quite clear and well taken photos. It has a good image stabilisation feature which allows you to take photos even if the object of person is moving very fast. Its battery life is quite good compared to most ordinary cameras which allows you to take 250 photos on average. It is a 10.1 megapixel camera which has a very high number of pixels for each picture, and I can say this is definitely so when I upload my pictures onto my laptop as the pictures are VERY clear and they still look good when zoomed in by half the size of the picture....
