...the picture on a TV Picture quality is great with good colour balance. The 3x Digital zoom works but with reduced picture quality, better to go for an optional 4x zoom lens. There are wide angle lenses available, they fit on the camera lens via a converter. The standard lens has a 38mm / F4.5 focal length. When you have taken your pictures slot the camera onto the Camera Dock press a button and the pictures, via the USB, will transfer to your computer. The DX 3500 comes with software/drivers on CD. The software lets you view the pictures, zoom rotate etc. The camera also appears as a device on the computer so you can Copy and Paste pictures direct from the cameras memory. The fact it has 8.2 megapixels means that you can zoom in on images and edit them very effectively. The front of the camera, in myopinion, looks like it's rival: the sony cybershot. The cybershot doesn't have as many Megapixels, and therefore doesn't produce as good quality images as this does. ...I have owned my digital camera now for about nine months. I have found that the DC240 is extremely easy to use, a lot easier than most SLR cameras I have owned. It realy is a point and click camera and I have been more than pleased with the reults. My young son has used it to good effect on his trips out, he is only 12 years old so it must be fairly starightforward. The picture quality has always been good. I am no expert when it comes to photography but this little camera seems to have everything I need. It has taken a few knocks along the way and seems to be no worse off for the experience. I have had to think hard to say something negative about the camera, but if I must then it would be that the LCD screen adjustment wheel is too easy to knock out. Can you trust Kodak cameras?

...the black has come away completely exposing greyish/white plastic underneath, and the silver coloured printing has already started to wear off! To me these small things imply a cheap construction and materials. Frankly I have to admit I very much got what I paid for with this camera, but if you cant trust a brand like Kodak who have built a reptuation on camera equipment who can you trust? According to Kodak's own site the M-series cameras have image stablisation, and HD image capture among other things, neither of these are evident to me at least. Before coming to write this review I had no idea of the RRP for this camera, but the quoted £100 - £120 (taken from the information to the left of the product information) has absolutely horrified me, I paid a 'mere' £87.99 for the camera and an add on deal of 4GB SD card and camera bag for £25.
