...I have mixed feelings about digital photo frames. My mum bought this Kodak Digital Photo Frame as part of a gift for her Partner as he is in to his gadgets etc and this was new out at the time. However, on first impressions I thought it looked quite odd and maybe a little tacky. However, my opinion has slightly changed. I think the advantage of having a digital photo frame such as this one made by Kodak is that you can regularly change the picture you are viewing. This is ideal if you have a special occasion or fancy a change. One day you could have a picture of your Gran and the next a picture of you and your partner. The photo frame is also easy to use and comes with an easy to read instruction manual in case you do get stuck. Features which attracted me to the frame: You can use a USB memory stick with it It is 800 x 480 pixel resolutions, twice the resolution of some other frames. It has interchangeable face plates to change the look of the frame. Features which put me off but weren't deal breakers: No random function on slide show Bloated Kodak software (according to other reviewers on Amazon) Pictures cropped to fit aspect ratio of frame The Reality. Bought the frame and being rather anal about these things allowed the whole package to reach the ambient temperature in the house before unpacking. ...I bought one of these frames for my elderly mother as a Christmas present recently, and she loves it ! I had been planning to buy one for her for quite a while, but was unsure of which make and model to get. The standard size for digital frames seems to be 7 inches, costing around £50, with larger ones obviously more expensive. I was walking past a local camera shop a few months ago, when I saw one of the 10 inch Kodak frames in the window, and it immediately caught my eye, the price was reasonably too- £119, I knew this was a good price, and it was not a major name shop either! A Sony Digital Photo Frame Review

Advantages: Good if you have a lot of pictures on your computer.

...I bought this digital photo frame for my eldest daughter as the sales assisstant in the shop said it is ideal for people with a lot of pictures and as she is leaving school soon she will have a lot of photos lying on the computer. This gift is ideal for people is their computer it full up with holiday pictures etc. It is a regular photo frame size, which is ideal. The picture quality is fantastic, however this depends on the quality of the camera you took the photo on in the first place. It is good that you can change the picture often by uploading new photos onto it (instructions make this very easy). You can choose which pictures you wish to view and how the transition of the photos occurs. The only down side is that if the photo is small then it doesn't stretch to the edges of the frame....
