...I have mixed feelings about digital photo frames. My mum bought this Kodak Digital Photo Frame as part of a gift for her Partner as he is in to his gadgets etc and this was new out at the time. However, on first impressions I thought it looked quite odd and maybe a little tacky. However, my opinion has slightly changed. I think the advantage of having a digital photo frame such as this one made by Kodak is that you can regularly change the picture you are viewing. This is ideal if you have a special occasion or fancy a change. One day you could have a picture of your Gran and the next a picture of you and your partner. The photo frame is also easy to use and comes with an easy to read instruction manual in case you do get stuck. ...I bought this frame from Argos for 89.99 following an extensive trawl of internet reviews. Features which attracted me to the frame: You can use a USB memory stick with it It is 800 x 480 pixel resolutions, twice the resolution of some other frames. It has interchangeable face plates to change the look of the frame. Features which put me off but weren't deal breakers: No random function on slide show Bloated Kodak software (according to other reviewers on Amazon) Pictures cropped to fit aspect ratio of frame The Reality. Bought the frame and being rather anal about these things allowed the whole package to reach the ambient temperature in the house before unpacking. The product is well packaged, using cardboard rather than polystyrene which is easier to recycle/dispose of. The manual seemed fairly straightforward...

A Sony Digital Photo Frame Review

Advantages: Good if you have a lot of pictures on your computer.
Disadvantages: There is always something moving in the corner of your eye.

...I bought this digital photo frame for my eldest daughter as the sales assisstant in the shop said it is ideal for people with a lot of pictures and as she is leaving school soon she will have a lot of photos lying on the computer. This gift is ideal for people is their computer it full up with holiday pictures etc. It is a regular photo frame size, which is ideal. The picture quality is fantastic, however this depends on the quality of the camera you took the photo on in the first place. It is good that you can change the picture often by uploading new photos onto it (instructions make this very easy). You can choose which pictures you wish to view and how the transition of the photos occurs. The only down side is that if the photo is small then it doesn't stretch to the edges of the frame....

...I bought one of these frames for my elderly mother as a Christmas present recently, and she loves it ! I had been planning to buy one for her for quite a while, but was unsure of which make and model to get. The standard size for digital frames seems to be 7 inches, costing around £50, with larger ones obviously more expensive. I was walking past a local camera shop a few months ago, when I saw one of the 10 inch Kodak frames in the window, and it immediately caught my eye, the price was reasonably too- £119, I knew this was a good price, and it was not a major name shop either! Pixelar digital frames 7" and 15"

...i actually bought the 7" PWCL7 and PBCL15 FRAMES...little one for a friend as xmas present,and the big one for me..;-). The quality of the 7" one when i started it up with an sd card out of my camera was surprisingly good for a little frame.Worked straight from plugging in really...also linked to pc and could download from pc via usb lead provided.Could orient the frame in portrait and lansdcape...but would need to orient the pics too...did via the remote control.picture bright and colour good. The 15" one was lovely,with stunning picture quality..seems to have same software in it as 7"-handy as i bought two.This one can go on a wall using the screw recesses in back..and thoughtfully has a longer lead power supply for the wall hanging option... ...I bought this pwcl7 white digital photo frame from the pixelar website, It came quickly-2 dys - and was well packaged, I have bought a 5.6" one and another 7" elsewhere over last 18 months but i have to say i was impressed by the quaolity and functions available on this one.the picture quality was very good and it was very easy to use, with good brightness and contrast range.The remote also had a mode function which enabled you to change from 16:9 to 4:3 ratio,,handy as most of my pictures are 4:3. it wasnt the cheapest..like my other 7" i bought,but it certainly was a goodd money buy. downsides.well i really wanted a black one but i found that this fits just about anywhere,currently on my office desk.Only criticism if i am being fair is that you cant wall hang it,but it may llook a bit daf that small on a wall.
