Easy Share - Easy Use

...I have paid quite a bit of money over the years for digital cameras but never been overly impressed with the quality of the photographs....until now. The Kodak Easyshare M753 was an impulse puchase when it was reduced on the boots.com website. My old Samsung camera was started to give up the ghost, so for £89.99 I thought I would give it a try. It comes in alternative colours from standard silver, and I chose a lovely navy glossy finish. It is a 7MP model with 3 x optical zoom & 5 x digital zoom, which is something I was told to look out for when buying a camera, as optical is better than digital zoom. The relatively high MP mean that the photos are such good quality, even when I printed them out on normal paper, the quality of the image was still excellent. Good Camera > Bad Photographer!!!

Disadvantages: Some times all the settings confusing (stick to auto!!!)

...I had been after a digital camera for a while and wanted one that was of good quality at a good price. Kodak is an easily recognised brand and therefore in my opinion reliable. I bought the M753 fot £79.99 from argos about 4 1/2 months ago. i have found it easy to use with an array of different settings. I particularly use the colour change feature a lot (b/w ect.) I have at times felt a little overwhelemed with the number of settings and tend to stick to auto as im am not entirely sure how effective some of the settings can be. The motion setting is great for parties and catching people mid-dance or for performances (gymnastics ect.) The video is also clear and picks up sound very easily. I found it easy to upload photos on the P.C but i dont like using the kodak software which comes with the camera....

...First the technical stuff, the case is made of plastic, ethylene-vinyl acetate actually, which is a form of soft thermoplastic, including recycled materials, so you could say you are doing your bit for the environment. The outer covering is hardwearing Nylon. The carry case comes complete with a wrist strap, although personally I would not trust it. It has an improved zip, apparently the old one was prone to jamming. The picture Ciao have put up is of the old model, the new one is very similar, just a little more subtle. These cases are a good idea for keeping dust and scratches at bay, however, it may have been a better idea if the case was fitted with belt loops, so you could carry it on your belt, or a strap like binoculars have, rather than risk it slipping out of your pocket, or even leaving it in the car.
