Advantages: Excellent graphics, some good acting
Disadvantages: Old news, some not-so-good acting

...Having seen this film being advertised to come on television recently, I could not pass on the opportunity to watch it. I had missed the chance to see it at the cinema, but as some of you will know, our screen is just about big enough to make the film experience special. I had heard a lot about this film when it was released. While the story was well known, the advertisements had given me the impression it would still be an amazing film. The graphics already looked quite good, but that alone is never enough. I know that a number of my friends had seen it and been quite disappointed, wondering what all the fuss was about. KONG!!!!

Advantages: entertaining, strong, high quality, fun, many benefits to dog and behaviour
Disadvantages: can hurt if it lands on your foot!!!

King Kong

Advantages: Durable, hours of fun, easy to find, range of sizes
Disadvantages: Quite heavy, expensive

...What do you humans know about what us dogs like to chew? My owner knows very little or I wouldn?t have chewed through the seat belts in his car or through the slippers he got last Christmas if he?d given something decent to play & chew with. He obviously doesn?t know that us dogs naturally chew & that we need something challenging to sink our teeth into on a regular basis. I don?t mean those awful squeaky latex toys that Trixie the toy poodle down the road has but real butch toys like a Kong. My owner tried those squeaky latex toys but because my teeth are so strong I destroyed them in minutes, spitting out the little plastic squeaker in disgust, all he did was complain about the cost! He then tried those toys made from the same material as tennis balls, nope, they lasted about five minutes & then he tried a stronger rubber toy...

Advantages: Very hardy, can be used as treat and a toy!

The Flying Kong

Advantages: Great fun for dogs and humans, versatile and durable
Disadvantages: Hurts if it hits you!

The Air Kong is a dog toy which is made of two adjoining parts, the main part being made from yellow tennis material but instead of a ball it is a long cylindrical shape like a sausage. Then attached to this is a rope weaved in yellow and blue. The Air Kong we have is the large version which is approx 28 cm long and 6cm wide, there are smaller versions available so you should find one appropriate for your dog size. No Donkey Kong

Advantages: Not a bad game for the first hour or so, good graphics, nice score
Disadvantages: A second-rate FPS with skin-deep puzzles

...To give it it's full name: Peter Jackson's King Kong The Official Game Of The Movie. Phew! There are two styles of play, the first person-perspective sections which see you play as Jack Driscoll make up the majority of the game. There are realistic touches to the view so that the limbs are not just animated to be armed with weapons. Also adding to the realism is the walking speed being affected by the terrain and the breathing sound effects. Weapons-wise, it's lacking - the low ammunition for guns means there's much resorting to infinitely-available, if weaker, spears; only one firearm is carried at a time, of which there are only a few types, with the game having about as many kinds of enemies. So it's not strong for variety, yet there's plenty of bugs and creatures to have to battle - with (graphical) glitches present as the enemy...
