Getting Your Kid Into Digital Cameras
Advantages: Features Like Any Regular Digital Camera
Disadvantages: 16 MB Internal Memory and No Zoom Capabilities
...No digital camera review on CIAO would be complete without a few entries about cameras designed for kids. After all, kids are almost universally enthusiastic about taking pictures. And parents with a love of photography often pass down their passion to their children. But digital cameras are not always kid-friendly, due to fragile construction, price, or complicated menus and buttons. The newest trend in children's electronics is a group of digital cameras made especially for small children. These cameras are easy to hold, come in bright colors that kids love, and have many of the same features as grown-up digital cameras. Kids love them.
The VTech KidiZoom Digital Camera is one of the top digital cameras for kids. This camera was made with fun in mind. Kids like the KidiZoom's large LCD screen and the onboard photo editing options...

KONICA KD 400Z - A nice compact camera.
Advantages: Small, compact, good display screen, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Red eye control is poor, and pictures can be grainy when taken in poor lighting
...I thought that it is about time I updated this review again, so I have added a bit more info.
Having broken my last camera, which was a 1.3 megapixel Oregon Scientific with no LCD screen, it was time to start looking around for a new one. The prices of cameras have come down dramatically over the last couple of years, and so we decided to go for a 4 megapixel camera. We trawled the internet looking for a good deal, and found the Konica. I paid £247 for this camera, but have seen them on the net since for £174.
This camera has since been superseded by the Konica KD 410Z which my husband has bought. (But that is in anotherreview.)
The Konica KD 400Z doesn?t come with a lot of memory, so we bought a 256MB memory card for it. On a 256MB card, I get 144 pictures at the highest resolution, but even on a 64 MB card, you can get 40...

Konica Revio - the revolution
Advantages: look at the opinon
Disadvantages: look at the opinion
...Since I participate a half year proud owner of a Konica Revio Z2.
I was on the search after a camera, should have the next feature. Small and easy, with it still zoom, if the date should possibly appear on the pictures as well and it should possess all new attribute. How lightning against red eyes, automatic lightning, etc.
The further wanted me I with films no longer with the puts in around-argues and archives no negative-strips more. Consequently, I decided as first in favor of an APS-Kamera.
APS = Advanced photo system. It is here about a small-picture-film, that is accommodated in a cassette. Consequently the film slips to the one and one gets back this cassette to the other after the development again. So that one can now assign pictures again, each picture has a film-number, that appears also on the cassette. With this...

Konica Minolta 2550 - a step up from the entry level printer
Advantages: Quality prints, quiet
Disadvantages: A little expensive to run
...The Magicolor 2550 is positioned as one of Konica Minolta's entry level colour laser printers, well almost entry level, as it offers some very nice features without taking the price of the device too high.
The specification on offer from this full colour model is a cracking 20ppm (pages per minute) in monochrome and 5ppm in full colour. The native resolution is 600dpi with a x4 dithering method which beefs this up to an effective 2,400dpi. The model on review here is the standard model, which has 128MB of memory, is network ready and offers Postscript 3 printer language in addition to PCL6 and PDF support.
The 2550DN which is the next model up adds a built-in duplexer and has 256MB of memory, it also adds Pictbridge support for direct connection of a compatible digital camera. Both models are capable of handling a monthly duty cycle...

Can Konica?
Advantages: Tiny, very cute, great pictures
Disadvantages: Viewing screen size and quality
...You might have read my reviews of other digital cameras recently, I seem to be a bit obsessed with them! Anyway, this is my latest acquisition! Well, it was really a gift for my daughter, who requested a digital camera that was "small and cool looking" for Christmas. This was the choice that I made for her.
In the interests of research for this review, I have used the camera on several trips and am now very familiar with how it operates. The first thing that I must mention is that this is a SMALL camera!! It makes my other cameras look and feel like bricks. It is the size of a pack of cards, but feels quite solid and substantial. Its small size doesn't make it feel cheap and lightweight.
The body is silver and mostly metal with a plastic sliding cover for the lens. The camera is supplied with a lanyard but no case/pouch, this...

A truly remarkable camera.
Advantages: Hd video recording, great photos, looks good
Disadvantages: EXPENSIVE!
...This camera is one hell of a camera and I was not disappointed buying this. I have been making some extra cash doing photography for parties and similar types of things just lately and this has been my new best friend. It is reliable and takes very high quality pictures as well as having the ability to record HD, yes! HD!, video at resolution 1080p (which is a lot better than most cameras).
First I'd like to comment on the design, looking both professional as well as striking; this really gives off the impression that you are a professional photographer and it is a pleasure and a pride to take photos with it.
It takes pretty impressive photos too; I have always had excellent results with this camera. It has 21.1 megapixels, meaning that the photos are crystal clear and allowing you to digitally crop and enlarge photos beyond...

Excellent camera
Advantages: Small enough to carry all the time, good picture quality
Disadvantages: Not enough warning of battery failure
...I received one of these tiny APS cameras as a Christmas present nearly three years ago. It is a sleek silver camera that fits nicely in my handbag (which is very handy - I used it to take pictures at the scene of a minor car crash I was involved in where the other driver refused to give her details - the pictures helped us to win our case with the insurance company).
The camera is very easy to use at a basic level (point and shoot gives very good results), but the menus are a little more complex. I'm not keen on 'writing' things on my pictures, so if I wanted to put the date or a message on them then I'd have to refer to the instruction booklet. This is very clear, with lots of diagrams to refer to, but I have to confess that I've not used all the features my camera has to offer. I have used it to take pictures at night (very good...

The Abbie Proof Camera!
Advantages: Keeps kids amused for ages, great range of features, very tough and durable
Disadvantages: Batteries run out quick, picture quality not great
...I'd seen the adverts on TV for these cameras quite a while before Christmas, they first became available in 2006, but I hadn't really noticed until the run up to Christmas that they were around. When I first saw it, I must admit I couldn't believe they had made a digital camera for kids! Wow, whatever next. They'll be making real working mobile phones for three year olds next!
Turns out this isn't the first time Fisher Price have launched a camera for children in 1984 which sold close to 5 million, a very popular idea apparently.
So, I thought I'd buy for my little girl, she loves anything that makes her feel like a grown up, she also loves to figure out how to work things which makes this toy ideal for her. I live in the middle of nowhere so it was internet Christmas shopping for me this year - I love E-Bay so thought I'd have...

vanguard Camera case
Advantages: cheap price, safe and durable, waterproof, and camera protective
Disadvantages: Made in china, available in black only.
...background to Vanguard
until I started to write this review I had no idea who they were. I searched online and read a few reviews about the company. The company specialise in manufacturing Camera bags, Binoculars, Tripods and Cases for guns to name a few products. The companies customers include major Camera manufacturers.
vanguard Camera Case
for a Camera case it is a low priced entry level Camera Case used to hold, store and allow the user to move around with a Camera inside the Pouch. The Camera Case is black coloured throughout. The Case has the Vanguard's logo encased on the closing part of the Pouch. Also the material is polyester and I suppose that it is good that it is not made from leather as the leather in the summer weather reacts to the heat. This Camera Case also adheres to the international quality...
