Konica Minolta 2550 - a step up from the entry level printer

...The Magicolor 2550 is positioned as one of Konica Minolta's entry level colour laser printers, well almost entry level, as it offers some very nice features without taking the price of the device too high. The specification on offer from this full colour model is a cracking 20ppm (pages per minute) in monochrome and 5ppm in full colour. The native resolution is 600dpi with a x4 dithering method which beefs this up to an effective 2,400dpi. The model on review here is the standard model, which has 128MB of memory, is network ready and offers Postscript 3 printer language in addition to PCL6 and PDF support. The 2550DN which is the next model up adds a built-in duplexer and has 256MB of memory, it also adds Pictbridge support for direct connection of a compatible digital camera. konica digital camera(say cheese)

Advantages: very good camera for the price
Disadvantages: only 2 megapixel(lower resolution)

...well i got my konica camera about 14 months ago now,the reason for buying said camera was as a mate and myself were going down south last year to see the superbikes. and i had been meaning to get a digital camera for quite awhile.so one weekend i went into dixons to see what they had on offer,and came across the konica revio kd-22oz. when i bought my one i paid about £100 for it,and still use it all the time and thats 14 month after buying it. along with the camera you also get the following items,usb cable,video cable,software cd-rom,camera strap,camera pouch,quick guide,2xaa alkaline battieries. it comes with 2.0 megapixels,with 3x optical zoom.there is a 1.6" colour tft lcd display.the camera its self has 3 picture settings which are as follows... super fine 8.1 compression fine 12.1 compression normal 15.1 compression...

...Although Konica Minolta have now ceased making cameras, there are still a few of these around (and warranty/service has been handed over to Sony). The A200 is the last of KM bridge mount digital cameras in the pro-sumer market. It has a 8m pixel CCD and 28 to 200 (35mm equivalent) manual zoom lens - much better than a motor driven lens which tend to have noticeable "stops". Although fairly big (not quite as big as a D-SLR) and quite heavy, the range of functions available from fully automatic to fully manual with a number of programme modes in between means that you get pretty much all the benefits of a D-SLR in a smaller, more convenient package. The Other Main use of my Camera is to take Excellent Quality Digital JPG Photography for my Ebay Site.There are 6 settings in the 'focus' range,enabling Photography of Landscapes down to the minutest detail on a stamp.This range is perfect for me,and after a little use,i found myself setting the focus,by a couple of clicks.The Camera though,is so advanced,that from a Facial Shot upto Landscape Shot...

KONICA KD 400Z - A nice compact camera.

Advantages: Small, compact, good display screen, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Red eye control is poor, and pictures can be grainy when taken in poor lighting

...I thought that it is about time I updated this review again, so I have added a bit more info. Having broken my last camera, which was a 1.3 megapixel Oregon Scientific with no LCD screen, it was time to start looking around for a new one. The prices of cameras have come down dramatically over the last couple of years, and so we decided to go for a 4 megapixel camera. We trawled the internet looking for a good deal, and found the Konica. I paid £247 for this camera, but have seen them on the net since for £174. This camera has since been superseded by the Konica KD 410Z which my husband has bought. (But that is in anotherreview.) The Konica KD 400Z doesn?t come with a lot of memory, so we bought a 256MB memory card for it. On a 256MB card, I get 144 pictures at the highest resolution, but even on a 64 MB card, you can get 40...
