So so easy to use, the only thing I would say about it is that you determine how mcuh water to use, now this is good in some ways, but, if your new to the machiine and aren't sure how much to use, it can be confusing!! But you get used to it, and the booklet you get with it describes how to make each drink! You get a selection of two of each of the drinks to test and see which you like! The pods are easy to use, but can only be used once and are almost £4 for either 16 or 8 drinks (depending on what drink you get!!) I think the price is brilliant for what it is, its very good looking and modern and comes in a range of colours which is great as it means anyone can fit one into their kitchen! I ignore the freshly brewed tea on the bench and begin ripping the box open desperate to see what all the fuss is about. My excitement is three fold because I have been lucky enough to receive this coffee machine FREE as part of my role as a Bzzagent whereby I receive free products to use and share with friends and provide feedback. The machine is extremely well packaged, perhaps a little too much in this age of 'reduce, reuse, recycle'. Mine is black and silver, and i know that there are other colours available, having seen the red one advertised on the TV. Amazing Coffee in under 2 mins with no washing up!

Advantages: Can customize your drinks exactly how you want them.
Disadvantages: Suagr in milk pods, Yuk!

...contains a welcome pack, which is a few of each drink pods to try, plus a latte glass and cappuccino cup, which I think is a nice touch. You also get a voucher for a free pack of pods when you register. Further china and all pods can be purchased directly from the Dolce and Gusto website. To make a drink, you insert a pod into a pod holder, push once to pierce the pod, slide into the machine, click down, and then slide the button to hot or cold. The drinks are brewed inside the pod so no washing up, other than rinsing the pod holder! Each cup is also fresh and hot, no sludge left. The main question with so much simplicity is what do the drinks taste like: Cappuccino: hot and frothy. However the pods are sweetened with sugar so if you don't take sugar in your coffee, you'll find them too sweet! Such a shame as the drink would be perfect...

It looks good in the kitchen, being black and silver, made from high quality plastic so is easily wiped clean, and has a good variety of flavours widely available, and reasonably priced. I received this machine as a wedding present, but I believe that it now costs around £90. At the time it was coming with a free accessories pack, comprising coffee capsules, a latte glass and a cappuccino cup and saucer. ...Ok first off, I LOVE THS MACHINE. Despite any problems I have mentioned below I am very glad I bought it. Here we go.... The Machine I've wanted a coffee machine for quite some time but unfortunately have quite a small kitchen so I am very limited with space so was shopping around for ages. The Dolce Gusto is very compact and quite trendy. I got the black version (comes in red & white as well) so it would go regardless of deco. The machine is very easy to use. Turn on, wait 15 seconds or so (until the red light stops flashing & goes green), slot in capsule, push the lever down to pierce/lock in the capsule, then turn the handle to hot. The drinks are lovely, best cappuccino around even better than most cafe standards. so Far there are 6 different drinks available these are Lungo (plain black coffee), Cappuccino, latte machiato, chococinno (hot chocolate), espresso and iced cappuccino. They are all great. My mother in law has the Tassimo machine and the coffee doesnt compare, this is far better! only downside is there are never any offers on the pods so at £2.99 for a box of 16 pods (which make 8 drinks of the latte Cappuccino and chocolate) it is slightly expensive BUT worth it if you enjoy coffee.
