...The LG KU990 was my second phone. I bought my phone for a good price of £136.00 and have not regretted it since. It;'s sleek design and easily usable features are what makes the phone a great phone, it's great 5mp camera with a stabilizer make it great for taking pictures on the go. It's movie making features also make the phone fun so even when your bored you can play about with this app and have hours of enjoyment! The phones chunkiness and very sensitive touch screen make the phone quite hard to use even though the phone comes with a stylus it scratches the screen when you try to open an app. The phone itself is a great buy definitely value for money!! :) Great purchase i would definitely recommend it...

Don't believe the good reviews- the KU990 is rubbish!

Advantages: Looks nice
Disadvantages: Poor touch screen, slow start up, poor quality camera images.

...I needed a new phone recently, and having read around the reviews online I decided to go for an LG Viewty KU990. Mine is actually a KU990i - quite what difference the i makes i don't know. I don't know what other people expect of a mobile phone, but after 6 months use it certainly doesn't fit in with my expectations... I was already with O2 so I chose the KU990i on O2's PAYG tariff, for £129, so that i could be sure I could use my current O2 sim in it. Out of the box, it is a very stylish phone, and from the reverse side it looks like a digital camera. Unfortunately, as far as I am concerned that is the only positive aspect of this phone. First of all, it's SLOW!!!! Start up takes forever!!! I have timed it at 29 seconds from pushing the "on" button, to the phone being ready to use. ...THE LG KU990 (Viewty) iPhone looks, with less $$$ We have just purchased this phone, My Girlfriend is a bit of a trend setter, and so went into Phones4U to collect this piece of pure genius. The box is imprinted with the date it was made (20 Oct 2007), so in our grubby little hands fast. The first thing you notice when you open the box, is the 'pop-up' style opening, which allows you to see two pictures of the phone. One as a phone, one as a camera. When you pull the phone out of the box, it looks like a camera with phone feature... which is amazing in itself! In the Box: Phone LG KU990 Battery Sub boxes - Charger, USB cable, earphones, stylus pen, screen protector and instructions. The inclusion of a screen protector is a brilliant idea, although it is a bit fidgety to attatch (i have big chubby Scottish fingers...

LG KU990 - hmmm

Advantages: Great camera and video capture, nice interface, good design and aesthetic appeal to others!

...Well then, here i am writing my personal review of the LG KU990, better known as the LG viewty. I purchased my LG KU990 last August with o2 on pay as you go. Great i thought, this phone is EVERYTHING i could ever wish for, great spec. camera, music player, funky looks and design. The packaging of the Viewty is all very cleverly put together and has a reassuring quality about it, from the way the outer sleeve hides the small but perfectly formed box, which, ok call me sad, i found a joy to open. Upon opening the box, and seeing the pop-up near life size version of the Viewty, one is again met with the reassuring air of 'oh this is a quality product', and to be fair, on the whole i think that it is. Contained in the box is all the usual assortment of items you would expect to come with a phone these days, charger, headphones...

...In November of last year, when my contract was nearing its end, I began looking for a new cell phone. There wasn't a great deal of choice, with the only phone worth having looking like the LG Ku990 Viewty. Over the past 7 months there hasn't been a decision I regret more. Why? LG Viewty (or ku990 for technical of peoples)

...The The LG ku990 or viewty as its known by most of its target audience who happen to be the more fashionable and stylish people in the world =P, this shows in its design which is a sleak rather good looking touchscreen phone with a steelplated "scratch resistence" back and funky touchscreen. Dont expect the same quality from the touchscreen as say an Apple Iphone it dosent use the same technology but i wont go into the boring details on that. The main feature is its 5.1 Megapixel camera and is LGs main party trick with this thing.
