Kyocera FS 5030N, brilliant color laser
Advantages: Very reliable, low cost per page
Disadvantages: None
...I bought first Kyocera FS 5030N for my company at February 2007. After six months we own another four of those. It shows how satisfied I am with quality of that product.
First quick description.
It's medium speed (24 pages per minute), color (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, blacK), laser printer with network interface (letter N on the end of a product name). It prints with same speed for B/W and color documents. Maximum print resolution is 600x600dpi.
It warms up in 80sec from power on, time to first page is 12sec. Inside sits processor PowerPC 750FX/600MHz with 128MB RAM, expandable to 1024MB.
It has smallest footprint (35x47x39cm) in its class. Offers very easy access to toners and waste toner tank. Each toner stands for printing 8k pages (in lab conditions of course, in real those numbers highly depends on average page coverage), which...

5 * printer the Kyocera that goes on & on & on
Advantages: Fast, Reliable, Easy to Feed paper
Disadvantages: It doesnt fit into standard computer desks,
...After my negative last printer review, I?ve decided to review another of our collection. The Kyocera FS 680 is my personal favourite. Which is a strange thing to admit under the circumstances!! About a year ago while in the process of finding new printers my boss suggested this one, to which I recalled what the hell is the point in buying it?We need A3 minimum and definitely something capable of printing colour. My boss inevitably ignored my comments and headed straight out to purchase this.
Incredibly this printer has since become a god send. Although only able to print A4 and black and white, this printer consistently chugs away day after day without a glitch. Before I launch into a buy now buy now speech I?ll tell you the features of the printer and let you decide!
Compatibility:
This printer as with most is compatible...

Colouring with naturtint
Advantages: colours my grey
Disadvantages: price
...Yes I admit it I am going grey. I coloured my hair recently using Naturtint hair colour. Naturtint make a range of 24 Permanent Hair Colorants, from Ebony black , chestnut reds through to Blondes. It is also possible to mix these colours to get your own individual shade
. My hair is not a vibrant colour its a greying mouse brown. Since this was the first time I was using this brand of hair dye I decided to play safe and a I chose hazel nut blonde. they don?t do mouse brown.
I bought my pack from a health store. I think you should be able to buy it from health shops chemists and on line too, one site selling is http://www.herbsgardenshealth.com.
I paid £9 for a bottle of this colour. It is more expensive than others I have used in the past .., but I think I have developed an allergy to one of the other hair dyes and bored...

Colour Adapt Foundation?
Advantages: good pump on bottle to aid application, long ;asting
Disadvantages: hard to blend, quite thick
...I went for a Max Factor Foundation as I knew the brand as was intrigued by the 'colour adapt' part of the labelling. As I had previously found it hard to find a foundation that matched and complemented my skin tone (I'm fairly pale in skin colour), this appealled to me as I'm always keen to avoid that over made up look.
The bottle looked good, with a pump for easy application. I went for one of the paler shades, that looked to match my skin tone fairly well. The foundation itself was actually a lot thicker than I was used too, and quite powdery. I thought that this would be good as it would avoid the greasy look that some foundations had given me in the past after a few hours wear,
The thickness of the foundation meant that I actually found it pretty hard to apply. It was difficult to judge the reight amount that would give me...

Colour Adapt Perfection
Advantages: Blends well, value for money, shades for everyone.
Disadvantages: re-application sometimes necssary
...I bought this product from a local Boots store for only £7.50. I had heard that this was one of the best foundations there is, especially for my fair skin tone. They were right.
This line of foundation has an extensive range of shades from the ghostly white to the darkest brown, a colour for everyone. I managed to find my perfect shade quickly and efficiently without the need for testers. This foundation I found was easy to blend even upto my hairline and the small cracks around my nose. The visibilty was just enough and it's coverage beautiful. It was noticeable and because it had adapted itself to my skin, it gave my skin tone a look of perfection. It is exceptional value money and I would reccomend it to any woman who struggles with blending their current foundation or finding their shade. Removing the foundation couldn't have been...

amazing colours
Advantages: brilliant book
Disadvantages: none
...Amazing colours is a brilliant learning aid for pre school children.
This book cost me £4.99 from morrisons which i think was realy good for a book like this.
There are parental notes in this book for the parents telling them how to best use this book, what stage a child should begin to learn things and lots of other realy interesting things.
RED has a picture of a toddler holding a red umbarella, opposit this you have a page divided into squares each containing something red.
A red fork, red car, strawberries, red shoes and a tomato. each square tells you a little bit about the item. on this page there is a pull tab on the side which asks you what colour are apples and you have to pull the tab to find out.
Yellow picture is more detailed and is realy looking at tones of colours, in the big picture you have a little...

"COLOUR ME PURPLE!"
Advantages: Catches most of the excess dye in the wash; keeps clothes "brighter" and "whiter"
Disadvantages: Smell when first open pack might make asthmatic person wheeze; have to remember to use
...without me noticing ~ sometimes with funny items in the pockets.
Once or twice he has even tossed his red "Steward" sweatshirt jumper into the machine (as well!) without telling me (fortunately it has been washed so many times it barely bleeds now). If I'm tired, I tend to just bung the appropriate load l have chosen to wash into the washing machine, crumble an ACDO non-bio washing tablet in the soap drawer, rinse the soap through with warm/hot water, set a 40 degree regular wash, and start the machine. Then I go do something else (like read, rate and comment on reviews) in the other room while the washing machine gets on with the job!
By the time l notice that the water in the "wash-a-vision" has turned a peculiar colour, it's usually too late to do anything l haven't already done (such as place a Colour Catcher® in the back...

Colourful Designs
Advantages: Broadens a child's imagination
Disadvantages: Be careful they don't get lost
...***Background***
I'm not sure when I bought this simple toy for my girls but I do know it was many years ago. I've searched on many websites and it seems that the only person that makes them nowadays is a company called Quercetti. They have many different sets that you can buy but the best deal seems to be the big pack of beads and the separate boards. We came across these the other day whilst sorting out some boxes in the loft and thought they would be an ideal treat for my son, as he loves making pictures and it gives his imagination something different to work with, rather than crayons or paints.
***What Are They?***
Basically they are quite simply a board with lots of holes in and a whole bunch of coloured pegs to put in it. The colours seem to be pretty universal - red, yellow, blue and green. The boards that you get...

A colourful tale...
Advantages: Interesting story, if painful; unique use of correspondence to drive the narrative
Disadvantages: Dialect is difficult in some places
.... The worst sin was mitigated just a bit.
And Celie and Nettie found out more. The land and house belonged to them, not to 'Pa', but rather their real daddy, who left it to them and their mother.
This is a painful story. It is a hopeful story. The courage of the women against family and societal tyranny is strong, but the courage against their own fears and shortcomings is even stronger.
Now, you may be asking, what right does a white man have in reviewing this kind of book? White people are very peripheral in the story, never central, never figuring more than just side characters, and not very human ones at that. I review this book in the hopes that it will be more widely read by those of every colour, as it gives insight into a different side of the human condition that is so far beyond my experience that, without this book, I would...

Max Factor Colour Adapt Foundation
Advantages: Evens skin tone, looks quite natural, a little goes a long way
Disadvantages: Caused me to break out, encouraged oilyness, didn't stay on amazingly long
...counter. I told her my budget, what my skin tends to be like, how much coverage I wanted and how often I'd be using foundation. For those who'd like to know (and I already explained my skin at the beginning), it went something like this:
- £10-£15 Budget.
- Medium to full coverage.
- I use foundation practically every day.
She recommended Max Factor Colour Adapt, it was around £11 and she happily went into detail about it. It has no SPF but you can easily sort that out by using moisturiser first, it's quite a liquidy consistancy and you only need to use a pea sized amount, it sets almost powder like. Sounded great to me, so I went ahead and got it.
So, Amy, what was it like?
Well, Ciao, I've been using this for around 2 weeks now and it definitely evened out my skin tone; even brought a bit more colour to my face without it looking...
