Kyriad Hotel, Magny-le-Hongre - Nothing bad but nothing special

Advantages: Clean, good shuttle bus service
Disadvantages: Not much to do, just a pit stop for Disney Land

...I stayed at this hotel in October 2007 and had a pleasant stay. The welcome area is clean and friendly, with a small bar and a shop near the check in desk. There's also a small toddlers indoor play area in this area. This is probably the nicest part of the complex, although it is pretty small. The corridors are quite dark and dull, but the rooms are decent and have traditional decor. I remember the beds being quite comfortable, which was nice after staying in an extremely uncomfortable Holiday Inn bed the night before. The outside is decorated nicely, with plants and flowers and is kept very tidy. However, the eating area was a disappointment and was basically a cafeteria. The food was quite nice and you could keep going up for more, but there was no atmosphere and it felt like everyone had been shoved in there not because they wanted to...

Oh La La debmercury stays in Hotel Bellevue Paris

Advantages: Excellent location and good value for money
Disadvantages: Not suitable for disabled people

...The Hotel The Bellevue hotel is a three star hotel and has 36 rooms, which are all nicely decorated in either burgundy or blue tones. It is a four storey building with lots of parisian style. The hotel is a small independantly run hotel which is in a fantastic location 19 Rue d' orsel, 7518 Paris which is at the foot of the Sacre Coeur church in Montmartre. I had pre-booked a taxi online when I booked this break. Taxi was from the Charles de Gaulle airport and when we arrived the Bellevue Hotel was lit up outside and looked very warm and welcoming. The hotel has a small reception desk which is open twenty four hours and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. At the side of the reception desk there is a large rack with lots of tourist information leaflets on where to go and places of interest...

Advantages: Great rooms, great hotel!
Disadvantages: Expensive to eat in hotel

...I recently spent three nights in Paris and booked the hotel through the Euro star website along with my train ticket. In total the hotel cost me around £150 for the three nights for a double room. When I got there I asked if we could change to a twin room and we paid 45 Euros more to do this for the three nights, so the total I paid was around £195. I think this is a very reasonable price for a hotel in Paris, especially because this one was lovely. Firstly, it is located within the Marais area of Paris, which is very nearby the Picasso museum. It is a walk able distance down to the river and to the Louvre etc, however there is a metro station minutes away; Republic. From Republic you can catch the majority of the different metro lines, or you can catch it to a station which will allow you to connect to the line you need. The hotel...

Elysees Opera/America Opera Hotel - Paris, France.

Advantages: Location, Room Size
Disadvantages: Facilities offered were minimal.

...and Disneyland Paris. It is also in walking distance of Montmartre and Le Galleries Lafayette. I felt that our hotel was in a prime location making it easy for us to get around the city. Paris itself is a very noisy city; being the capital of France this should be expected. There is always a lot of noise around including during the evenings and at night time. The fact that our hotel was situated in such an area did not make it any better; this was clearly visible with our balcony doors open. However, the hotel offers soundproofed rooms, as standard to combat this noise, of which I will go into more detail later. Overall for the location I would give it a 9/10, we never struggled to find anything that we were looking for, apart from the hotel itself in the first instance. ...I recently went on a cultural girlie trip with a friend to Paris. I was left to do all the booking. I was looking for a reasonable hotel, near a metro stop, which included breakfast. I came across the Hotel International on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights. LOCATION: The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal. PRICE: Prices vary depending on size of room and season. ...We stayed in the Kyriad la Villette in Paris for three nights and can only partly confirm the positive review written so far. First of all, although we had booked bed and breakfast over the internet, the receptionist insisted that the breakfast was not included and that the company (lastminute.com) was at fault selling this hotel room together with the breakfast. As this young woman did not appear massively competent anyway, we came back in the evening and spoke to another member of staff - who confirmed that the breakfast was in fact included and had been paid for. The room we had in this hotel was the smallest I've ever experienced. Even budget-chains like Etap or Formule 1 have larger rooms with more storage space. Hotel Cheyenne - Disneyland Paris

...We stayed at the above hotel during October half-term 1999, and were quite excited at the prospect. However, on arrival, the excitement was short lived. We arrived at about 8.30pm, tired and hungry, after a very long day travelling, and found ourselves having to wait for an hour on the coach whilst the receptionist distributed room keys to the coach driver. The hotel was designed in the style of a wild-west ranch and the accommodation blocks were spread about in about a mile radius, needless to say, we were in the furthest block away from the reception/restaurant area.
