...As you may have noticed from my reviews, I like my bath products! At the moment I have several different products on the go - soaps, shower gels, scrubs, and I noticed that everything I'm using at the moment is quite highly fragranced. Whilst sometimes this is fine, sometimes I find that the scents of my shower gel, body lotion or perfume will clash, or other times I just want something a bit more subtle. Wanting to use my new cherry blossom perfume, which is quite a subtle fragrance, I looked through my array of bath and shower gels for something that would be gentle enough not to overpower it. L'Occitane's Shea Butter hand cream does the job

Advantages: Soothes sore, dry skin on hands very well, and smells nice
Disadvantages: Very expensive, can be a little heavy for some people

...This is a particularly rich hand cream that i'd recomend to anyone who suffers from dry skin. It is a little heavy, and doesn't soak into the skin straightaway, but for those with very dry skin conditions, this isn't a problem, and i've found that it soothes tight, sore skin extremely well. It's rich enought to use elsewhere on the body; particularly the knees, heels and elbows. It smells nice, not too perfumed, and the packaging is reminiscent of days gone by. The tube itself is quite maleable, making it relatively easy to get the last few squirts of the cream out. The Shea butter content is around 20%, and also boasts fruit, leaf and honey extracts. A lovely product that does the job and looks great in the bathroom; my only gripe is that it is pretty expensive at around £16.50 for a large tube (150ml), but you can buy a smaller...

L`Occitane Shea Butter Foot Cream

Advantages: Really works well
Disadvantages: It is expensive

...I have been using L`occitane products for a while now, basically they are beauty products, they sell foot cream, shaving cream, bubble bath, soap and much much more, there stuff is really good. the one bad point though is that they are really expensive, (I get a discount as my sister in law is a mangeress in one off their stores.) She tends to buy the family birthday or christmas presents from her store, recently she got me Shea butter foot cream as I am always complaining about my sore feet. Review of L'Occitane Shea Butter Liquid Soap Lavender

L'Occitane Shea Butter Body Lotion has beautiful results but....

Advantages: Intensly smoothing and hydrating
Disadvantages: oily and thick takes some time to sink in

...I received this as a gift set with the matching soap and shower gel, all three products are beautiful, containing 15th Shea Butter, honey and apricot oil, the smell is very subtle, clean and 'treatmenty' almost like Savlon. I would recommend this body lotion for more of a home spa treatment rather than a daily body lotion, its better suited to applying after an evening bath before going to bed to wake up feeling like you've just had a weekend at a top spa. The lotion is very thick, it takes a while to sink in and leaves a sticky, oily film even hours later, normally this would completly put me off but the end result is well worth it hence why i apply before bed so that i can go to sleep and ignore the sticky feeling, your skin is left unbeleivably smooth, supple and even toned, it even makes a considerable difference to the appearance...

SHEA DELIGHT FOR YOUR HANDS

Shea Butter was great and took away the dryness

My first L'Occitane Cherry Blossom let down

Advantages: smells amazing, leaves skin clean and soft
Disadvantages: scent doesn't linger, nothing overly special to justify the price

...I am absolutely head over heels in love with the L'Occitane Cherry Blossom fragrance, so much so I even bought the perfume! Given that it's my favourite scent, when I got a small bottle of their cherry blossom shower gel I tried to wait a while before using this - I suppose I was saving the best until last - or so I hoped anyway! The product is packaged in the same way as the other L'Occitane Cherry Blossom products - a clear bottle which has a cherry blossom pattern moulded into it. In pictures it actually looks like this is a square bottle standing at an angle, however it's actually flat at the back and the front comes out at an angle. It's a little unusual, but L'Occitane do have their odd quirks when it comes to packaging, like the lavender shower gel which has the label stuck on at a 45 degree angle! The main selling point...
