L'Oreal Couleur Experte - I'd use it again!

Advantages: First part was easy to do with good results
Disadvantages: Not easy to do decent streaks on your own

...I'm getting on a bit now & my hair would no doubt be grey if I left it alone (perish the thought!!) I started colouring it in the 60's when I was a teenage mod. Over the years, I've used allsorts - usually things I find on special offer. I had a short spell when I could afford to go to the hairdressers and paid anything up to £70 for colours. Now I'm on the pension however, times are tight so I was really pleased when yesterday, I found a box of Couleur Experte in a box at an auction sale. There was also a box of Garnier multi-lights and I got both for £1 - Well I've just used the Couleur Experte (Rum Coffee) and I'm SO pleased with the results. Unfortunately, I don't look like the girl on the box and I wish I'd left the highlight cream on longer (I chickened out after reading all your revues) I'd certainly save up for another kit...

L'Oreal Couleur Experte? DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

Advantages: None!
Disadvantages: Smells AWFUL, Nothing like the colour advertised, dries your hair out!

...Oh my where do I start? My natural colour is a very light brown colour with natural blonde tones, 3 most recent colours it has had were twice auburn and then blonde (in attempt to get rid of the red tones in my hair). I then bought L'Oreal coleur 'exprete', absolutely daft name, as there is nothing expert about this colour that's for sure. Yesterday I did a streak test, I cut a full length streak right from the root and applied the colourant, once I had left it the time stated I washed the streak and had a look, I was in shock as nothing had actually happened, apart from the roots getting lighter! So I decided to give it another go, convinced something miraculous must start to happen sooner or later, I left it another hour! When I finally rinsed out the streak test and look at it the roots looked lighter and the main hair...

Advantages: Removes waterproof make - up, has a nice smell, efficient - will last for several months

...After seeing the adevrtisement on T.V. for "L'Oréal Paris Volume Shocking mascara" and swayed by the claim of 12x the volume , the glamour and the hype....I bought it... This is a two-step mascara which consists of a base-coat and a top-coat. and claims to " provide the most explosive volume ever!.. At £10.99 it was quite expensive, but I thought it must be worth it. Advantages: Full, long lashes and now available as waterproof

...mascara, both of which promised a false lash "theatrical" look - they weren't that good. I kept looking out for a waterproof version of the Volume Shocking. At the beginning of March, I saw an advert for the waterproof version of L'oreal Volume Shocking, and I bought it at the Boots' offer price of £7.99, instead of £10.99. It is fantastic - huge, thick well-defined lashes, with no running AT ALL - not even in the shower. One little problem - it takes two eye-make up remover pads on each eye to get it off, otherwise you'd have to rub really hard, and the skin around the eye is much too delicate for that. I use waterproof-removing pads, too, and they have always removed my waterproof make-up. I definitely recommend this mascara if you want to look "made up", you can get away with wearing this without eyeliner and still look...

A not so expert make up remover!

Advantages: Works a little, would be fine (I assume) for light make up wearers
Disadvantages: Doesn't do a good job for me at all and it's too expensive for what it is in my opinion

L'Oreal Men Expert Hydra Energetic Tan Moisturizer - ORANGE!

Advantages: Erm...ZERO!
Disadvantages: It turns your face orange, you stink and you get weird looks from everyone

...Well I've just got back from my holiday with a nice brown tan...I always feel better with a tan. So to try and keep it a bit longer and stop my face from peeling I thought I'd try this product....It's L'Oreal so I thought it would be a really good product. I bought it in the airport on my way back home. I've used it for 3 days now...and I've got an orange face. It stinks...and I think people stood next to me in work (the ladies, especially) recognize the smell as being a fake tanning product....and I'm getting weird looks from everybody...it's embarrassing! It hasn't gone streaky..just an all over orange glow. I tried scrubbing my face last night to at least get rid of the smell...but I can still smell it now as I'm typing this review. It does, however, do a good job of moisturizing your skin...my real tan isn't peeling at all...

...What is it, and what does it claim to do? A mascara from popular brand L'Oreal. The one that I purchased was black, but I have also tried the black/brown version. Of the two, I use the black version more often. Packaging Comes in a cardboard backed plastic pack, that is easily removed. Application and Removal No different from any other mascara, you remove the wand and apply it to the eyelashes, from root to tip. Most beauty experts recoommend that this is done in the "fan" motion. From the inside third, to the middle, to the outside third. It doesn't clump, and over the course of he day it doesn't fall off the lashes onto ones cheek, unlike some other mascars that I've used in the past. Personally, I haven't found that it lengthens my lashes all that much, or thickens them - but it does define them...
