...I had always usually relied on the sun for a tan but had always worried about the effect of it on my skin. I had always disregarded fake tan because i though it didn't work and was expensive but then i saw L'Oreal sublime bronze on the shelves and at a price of 9.99 it was incredably cheap! i applied it as soon as i got home. The directions were simple and easy to use resulting in the gel going on smoothly and more or less evenly. The fake tan hardly rubbed off on my sheets, clothes or in the shower. The appearance was slighlty streaky so i recommend that if you're going to use this product that you purchase additional tan corrector wipes for just 50p each from boots. The product claims to be fragrance free but the smell was quite distinctive and lingered on my hands for about a week. I also suggest that you lay a towel on the floor...

L'Oreal for me!

Advantages: natural looking tan, moisterising
Disadvantages: takes a while to dry

...I tried L'Oreal Nutrisummer for the first time last summer after realising I just couldn't face getting my pastey pins out in the sun! I brought it from Boots for £7.92. Prices vary depending on where you shop but is usually between £6 - £7. A 'tone up' bottle of Nutrisummer is also available - it is the same as Nutrisummer but contains caffeine which is meant to tone the skin and reduce the apperance of cellulite. A tone up botte typically costs between £7 - £8. It comes in different shades - one for fair skin and one for darker skin. It comes in an attractive looking bottle, which is easy to read and understand. The lid is at the bottom so you don't have to spend time shaking it out when you get to the end. L'Oreal Couleur Experte? DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

Advantages: None!
Disadvantages: Smells AWFUL, Nothing like the colour advertised, dries your hair out!

...Oh my where do I start? My natural colour is a very light brown colour with natural blonde tones, 3 most recent colours it has had were twice auburn and then blonde (in attempt to get rid of the red tones in my hair). I then bought L'Oreal coleur 'exprete', absolutely daft name, as there is nothing expert about this colour that's for sure. Yesterday I did a streak test, I cut a full length streak right from the root and applied the colourant, once I had left it the time stated I washed the streak and had a look, I was in shock as nothing had actually happened, apart from the roots getting lighter! So I decided to give it another go, convinced something miraculous must start to happen sooner or later, I left it another hour! L'Oreal Excel10 hair colour

...This review is for l'Oreal Excel10 NOT Feria - but I don't know how to start a new link. Dying my hair is something I have to do as I'm going grey and I don't want to grow old gracefully (disgracefully is more fun!). But I really hate doing it, especially as it takes so long for the colour to develop (as my hair tends to be resistent to colour I usually end up having to leave the dye on for at least 30-35 minutes). So when I saw the telly ad for L'Oreal Excell10 I was really intrigued - surely it's not possible that a hair colour could develop in just 10 minutes AND cover all grey? The wand of the mascara is like a comb with four lines of rubbery spikes, it’s not as leathful as it sounds. L'Oreal True Match Minerals :)

Advantages: Easy to apply and covers the face to give a natural look
Disadvantages: the powder can be a bit messy

...I normally use liquid foundation but after seeing the advert I decided to try L'Oreal True Match Minerals. I was quite surprise with the results I got from the first time I tried the minerals. The colour matched my skin perfectly and looked natural. What surprised me the most was I did not need to use a lot of the powder and it gave me a finished look, like when I use liquid foundation. I tend to like the more natural look when I wear foundation but sometimes foundation doesn't blend into my skin. I had no problems with true match minerals blending into my skin. Only problem I have is the powder can be a bit messy. Also I learnt from my mistake not to put the true match minerals on straight away after applying moisturiser... then the minerals to not blend in. L'Oreal Feria Colour

Advantages: smells quite pleasant
Disadvantages: messy & expensive

...Because I regularly colour my hair (at least every six weeks) and have had a few bad experiences with hair colours I tend to stick to the one brand which is usually L'Oreal Revitalise, however when I was in Boots, a couple of days ago, I came across the Feria range and because it was made by L'Oreal I was a bit more confident using it than I would have been if it had been made by another manufacturer. The Feria 3D range has a better selection of colours and the colours seem much more vibrant, I usually colour my hair with the Dark copper Mahogany from the revitalise range, but I was fascinated by the Chocolate Cherry range of Feria which was a much more striking colour of burgundy.
