L'Oreal Excel10 hair colour

...This review is for l'Oreal Excel10 NOT Feria - but I don't know how to start a new link. Dying my hair is something I have to do as I'm going grey and I don't want to grow old gracefully (disgracefully is more fun!). But I really hate doing it, especially as it takes so long for the colour to develop (as my hair tends to be resistent to colour I usually end up having to leave the dye on for at least 30-35 minutes). So when I saw the telly ad for L'Oreal Excell10 I was really intrigued - surely it's not possible that a hair colour could develop in just 10 minutes AND cover all grey? It also claimed to make the hair stronger and with the help of the cashmere conditioner leave it shiny - it all sounded too good to be true! Well shortly after seeing the ad regularly on TV the dreaded moment arrived - I know I need to colour my hair...

Simple and effective hair dye - Definitely reccommended

Advantages: Easy to apply, clear instructions, sleek/shiny/accurate hair colour, cost-effective
Disadvantages: Skin test rubs off really easily, so could be inaccurate results.

This one had most good revies, was a low price, and had the colour I wanted, so the next day I went to my local Lloyd's Pharmancy where I found it to be on offer for £5 a carton. After spending a good five minutes deciding between 'Iced Chocolate' and 'Dark Brown', I went with my first instinct and bought Iced Chocolate. The packaging instructs you more than once to perform a skin test 48 hours in advance. Not having EVER dyed my hair before, I did the skin test on the skin on my elbow. This is where I encountered a problem - About 3 hours after applying it to my skin, it had bunched up and gone into little balls, so I had to wipe it off in case it went on anything in my house. Amazing Hair Product , L'Oreal Kerestase Ciment

Advantages: Makes hair silky, shiny and manageable + smells divine!
Disadvantages: Can be hard to find

Soft and silky hair!

...Since I was about 16 I have been dying my hair, from blonde to red to brown. I am also always trying different dyes every few months as so many come onto the market I like to make sure I am using one of the better ones. However after buying and using the loreal casting crème gloss, I will no longer be using all different dyes as this particular type of loreals hair dyes are magnificent! The boxes are extremely helpful as you will find a picture on the front of a model with the colour hair you are going to be using and on the top is again a picture of the type of colour your hair will be. On the side it shows three pictures from blond, brown and dark brown underneath is what each one will look like if your going to dye your hair this colour. I think this is really helpful as you can see whether you should choose something lighter...

L`Oreal Have The Balance Right

...Only last week when I walked into Boots the chemist I noticed that the L`Oreal stand had been put in another corner of the store. There was the usual line up of cosmetics including Rimmel, Barry M, Maybelline, Max Factor and a couple of less well known names in the world of cosmetics and L`Oreal stood alone. I supposed it was one of the one hundred and one marketing tactics that stores are so keen on applying. L`Oreal are well established and they produce some great cosmetics and hair colours, I doubt if there are many females that have not bought one of the L`Oreal products at one time or another. L`Oreal have put the Color Riche lipstick into a traditional twist mechanism case which has quite a sophisticated appearance. Advantages: not too damaging, lots of conditioner

...probably still be there until i have a few more sessions of highlights. i would not reccomend this to my worst enemy. its toxic. i dont know what they put in the stuff but its not good. the cost it was to put it right and the damage to my hair from the corrective proceedure has put my off ever using a box dye again. its just not worth the risk. it said on the box there would be no orange effect, someone at loreal is having a laugh anyway. a couple of months later, i thought id update you on the hair situation ! i decided i didnt like my lighter hair and wanted to dye it dark brown again ( like u do ) . after the l'oreal disaster there was no way i was going to use a box colour again, so i decided to go to my local beauty supply store and buy a colour there, the exact same one my hairdresser uses, except id be saving £20 by doing it myself...

The wand of the mascara is like a comb with four lines of rubbery spikes, it?s not as leathful as it sounds.
