At first I didn't really notice what it was doing to my skin & I was getting a lot of compliments from people about how good my skin was looking. I hadn't told anyone that I was using this cream as I wanted to know if it really worked. Its given my skin life & gives it a very nice glow. As for my spots - what spots??!!! They've all stopped - I cant believe it. I noticed it took away a lot of the redness from the scars left by spots & now im just waiting for the scars to start diminishing. La mer works

...intimidated by the product knowing how much the stuff costs, and all the instructions of how to use it correctly. I have been using it now for just under 3 weeks, and I can't believe the difference in my skin! All I can say is that my skin feels balanced for the 1 st time in my life. I used to wake up in the mornings with a very shiny oily face - no more! And the dry spots are gone! I use my crème de la mer in the evenings as a night cream and eye cream, after washing with the face wash. If it is not working for some people fair is fair, a lot of other good products didn't work for me either! Creme de la Mer: thumbs down

Advantages: leaves skin moisturized for long
Disadvantages: overpriced, overrated,no SPF

...between fingertips before tapping it on the face,but my fingers absorbed most of the cream!Does it mean I will have wrinkle-free finger tips?? The Creme de la Mer, ladies and gentlemen, DOES NOT contain a SPF, which means that, although I spent a fortune for this cream, I have to spend even more for another cream with SPF (and would I apply it before or after the Creme de la Mer?).This is not acceptable, everyone knows about the risks of skin cancer and if I pay a fortune for a face cream then it has to be perfect. That was the bad news.The good news, however, is that excellent creams DO exist. Creme de la Merde!

Advantages: This 'designer' cream will turn your bathroom shelf into a shrine.
Disadvantages: Your bank manager will none too pleased.

...that I had been a tad impatient and hasty the first time round and that it had been unrealistic of me to have expected nothing short of a miracle after just one measly application. So for the last month I have been using the moisturiser, I now write this review because I have reached the end of my tub and can therefore provide an honest insight into my Creme de la Mer experience. I won't bang on about how the face cream is highly expensive as that would be stating the obvious but the fact that it only lasted about a month for that price is not what I would call good value for money, I mean at that rate there's no way I could make Creme de la Mer a permanent fixture in my skincare regime, the only way I could purchase a pot per month is if I skimped on food, and survived on beans on toast for the rest of my life! Not the Creme De La Creme

...this would be the elusive cream that would melt away all my bad skin days and leave me waking up each morning with skin so beautiful and flawless I would look like Da Vinci had airbrushed me himself! Amazing face cream

Advantages: Good for dry/sensitive skin
Disadvantages: Quite expensive

...My wife uses this moisturiser and she says it is amazing! Some of her friends have found the creme quite rich but she has dry/sensitive skin and Creme De La Mer has been fantastic in sorting it out. The only downside is the price tag although it does last about 3 months and she says it is definitely worth the money. My wife also started using one of their serums as well which then made the creme last longer and the serum makes smaller amounts of the creme soak in better to dry skin. You can also buy the creme in bigger 60ml pots which does help make it a bit cheaper if it's something you would use all the time. And of you really love it you can spend about £800 on the litre sized pot which saves 400 overall - although we've personally stuck to the smaller pots!...

I have seen it being sold on ebay, but have heard so many people say they bought Crème De La Mer from a seller on ebay and thought the crème was useless. Simply is not worth it!

...I originally bought this cream 6 months ago admittedly because I read in a magazine that celebrities raved about it! I had just entered my thirties so thought I should do something to keep the dreaded wrinkles at bay. My skin is basically combination with dry cheeks and an oily t-zone. The cream was designed by a NASA scientist called Max Huber who fermented all kinds of algae-type products to make a cream that actually got rid of burns on his face- the cream is now marketed by a big cosmetics giant using his formula.
